^ Possibly blocking for train 2. Train 3 was the one on the transfer track.

^ Trains have been out of the transfer building frequently today. No testing, just sitting on the transfer track.

The new Beast entrance
^^ I concur. Too much is being revealed too early nowadays. Its fun to go to the park on opening day and discover things that have been added/removed/changed.

Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
^^ Easy there cowboy. No need to discuss naiveties. After all the hoopla that arose when they stopped DB on the lift hill last time, why would they show it again, if this was the case. However, nothing has to be going on with DB. I think I like looking at the plaza under construction more than I do a dormant DB.

What's the best ride at KI or any other park that you've been on at night?
I would have to go with Millennium Force. Just watch out for the bugs... many bug casualties from Millennium Force's trains

Mystery Construction at Cedar Point
Are you certain that GCII is doing this job? It is not listed as one of their projects on their website...

Mystery Construction at Cedar Point
Has anyone heard how extensive the "retracking" actually was? I believe it was said that this is just annual maintenance here. If this is the case, I would say to not expect much after the first month or so of running the ride.

GCII's El Toro of Germany
Correct. A major difference between the two: one is a true wooden coaster; the other a steel coaster in wooden coaster's body.

GCII's El Toro of Germany
"And that is the real EL TORO!!" Haha Stick it to the man!!! Love it! This coaster while short is amazing!

Mystery Construction at Cedar Point
2 Words: "Screamscape is reporting a rumor from a source that Kings Island may see a large steel coaster for the 2009 season, running out in the woods near The Beast." Home Run. I believe this source of which they speak is First Drop Magazine. Which is quite a reliable source. However, some sources are not as reliable. Thats why I continue to take things from that site with a grain of salt. Although in this case I believe there is a good chance of this being correct.

Favorite Roller Coaster Manufacturer?
GCII's work is very technical and are starting to diversify. I voted for them because I have a great appreciation for their ingenuity and the way their coasters both look and ride. Also just to throw this in, i see their coasters as becoming more prevalent in the future because they are relatively inexpensive and nowadays i believe that this is what parks will be looking for.

Mystery Construction at Cedar Point
Anyone think that this might not be a coaster? I am as skeptical of screamscape as the next person but some sources on there are reliable and I recall them mentioning a possibly amazing flume ride being put in at CP...

Future Expansion
^^^ Man would I love for an S&S Swing to come to KI. Fire- uh Night- I mean Skyhawk, yeah that's the one, is my favorite flat at CP. I didn't think it would be anywhere near Delirium or MaxAir because it didn't spin or have a different motion to accompany the swing, but CP got it right when they installed that ride.

This is Diamonda
Its not even the Disney replication that I find funny. Its that this guy thinks that the attractions he has thought up are entertaining enough to make people want to come back to the park over and over again. The "educational" attraction is only good for one ride. No one goes back to EPCOT to ride only Spaceship Earth. EPCOT provides many thrilling attractions that draw back visitors and this video has zero. When the thrilling ride in your park is a spinning wild mouse, something is wrong.

This is Diamonda
This might be the most comical idea I have ever seen.

Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
^ For some reason I like the prospect of not knowing what it will look like. It gives me something to look forward to. However unless I go opening day, I'm sure I will see it online beforehand. EDIT: Thats 100 for me... It's been a long time coming

I highly doubt rain would cause this ride to cease operation. What effect are you thinking it would have on the ride? overflow?

But there are ripples in the pool if i am seeing it right. Although it is quite windy out... We'll see soon enough.

World's First Amusement Park to Run on Wind Energy
With as many windmills/turbines as there are in Denmark, this is the perfect place to experiment with this type of application.
