About Me

**formerly "WSYXnewsguy"**

I am a park history buff... I love digging and finding pieces of what used to be. I'm a born and raised Buckeye and have been going to Kings Island, Cedar Point, and Geauga Lake (RIP) since I was old enough to walk.

I live just outside of Columbus with my beautiful wife Jenn, our newborn daughter Avery, and our 5 dogs: Zoe, Rico, Lola, Tutu, and Juno.

I double majored in Television Broadcasting and Stagecraft at Capital University in Bexley. I work as an Assignment Editor at WBNS 10TV, the CBS affiliate in Columbus.

I love cars, especially classics. I'm currently restoring a 1962 Ford Falcon sedan I bought this spring (see sig). We also are huge Mustang fans, having had an '04 coupe (Competition Orange), '06 coupe (Legend Lime), and our current 'Stang, an '08 convertible (Black on Black). We've been Mustang Club of Ohio members for 5 years and show our cars several times throughout the summer.

I have been drumming since I was a little kid, and play out as much as possible. My biggest musical influences are Carter Beauford and Gregg Bissonette. I love to collect and restore vintage drums, especially PREMiERs.

I do set and lighting design on a freelance basis, doing news set design for high school and college programs and theatrical set and lighting design at all levels.
