I've tried that.. & I agree it does help the ride out. I rode it one way with my head against the head rest the whole time.. PAINFULL!! My head was constantly banged against the restraint. Then I rode it again with my head kind of sticking forward & following the turns & it made a big difference! I think the roughest part of the ride is where it kind of slams to the right after the first big turn if you know what i'm talking about. After that the ride isn't so bad. I guess some people hate it.. others don't.. I like The Vortex.

I believe Carowinds has gotten their Drop Zone repainted for this season. Of course it is a giant drop.. not a gyro drop like PKI's.. So I'm guessing that if they do repaint Drop Zone that they might use some type of crane to lift someone up that could get all the way around it. But I think that's to much work... why not use the lift!! It would be easier.. doubt that they will. As for Face/Off.. I think it should be repainted soon before it looks like Thunder Road at Carowinds, which hasn't repainted it since '89. A touch up would help.

I know how to do this.. If I am correct about what you are saying. To build rooves over buildings select a roof piece, put it over the square where you want it and press & hold Shift, the piece should show directly above the ride, then click to place it. Shift can be used to raise pieces over the same square without it moving away from that square. If I haven't confused you enough.. just press & hold the shift key!!
