  2. The train's capacity can be really high, since lots of people take it instead of walking to the water park. Did the other parks use it as a mode of transportation to their water parks if applicable?
  3. The fort and buildings still stand, but the theming has been gone awhile now.
  4. Well, I have worked it out with my mentor teacher at Dater, so I will be able to attend the IJST Construction Tour on Friday, so I look forward to seeing a few of you that I know on here, and also many of my fellow employees at the park. Rock on, and keep learning.
  5. I want to hear from your point of view, why you couldn't spell those sentences properly?
  6. Not if this new interview goes like the last one you won't.
  7. And then there are those of us that absolutely hate working a coaster, and would rather work any flat ride or kiddie ride(s) all day, all week, all month, all season.... That would be me.
  8. I wouldn't advise riding during your break. If the ride breaks down and you are on it, then you are late back from break, and that makes your sups very upset, late with everything else, generally cranky, and we sometimes must report it.
  9. I don't think I'll comment on that... I'll get myself in trouble.
  10. I like spending long hours at one ride, occasionally, just not day after day after day.
  11. It's not something I would want to spend the rest of my life doing though, but good for the younger crowd.
  12. This is a tough call. Some days it's absolutely wonderful, like everyone has said. Other days, as I get older and more experienced, I see many downfalls in working for the park. I know I'll be there at least one more season, after I have my Masters degree, who knows
  13. Good luck finding people that are currently trained to run the rides. Tehehe. I don't even get trained til march, and I'm a sup...so yeah. Besides, it will get colder again, just wait.
  14. Yes, the PTC Grand Carousel, we let you, as long as you are sitting, safely, and not turned backwards or in weird configurations.
  15. BYE

I think they are lame beyond belief, and a waste of cyberspace. Sorry if I offend anyone.
  16. Are we all really that bored that we must analyse a picture of metal for scrutiny on track placement? Come'on people...It's the holidays, watch tv, be with family, be with friends, do something that doesn't involve over - analysing a coaster track.
  17. What's this about kissing on the tower? How crazy! edit: and no, don't be going and getting crazy ideas that kiss people on my ride either...
  18. Brad, I do believe that is the wrong chick too....Oh my.
  19. I'd like to know where you think you get your info....
  20. YES! They have begun putting the primer on the 50 ft level. I saw it this weekend. Also it's getting new cables.
  21. Way back when Paramount first bought the park, they were going to remove it. According to a manager, they actually debated this issue for many months. Personally, I like it, just because of the view, and not to mention that the managers of ALL departments go and spy on their workers from up there. Hehe. I love being in the know sometimes.
  22. Dude they just spent about half a million on the new elevators for the tower, and the ride is getting brand new counterweights and cables for next year.... so I really don't see it moving for at least another decade!
  23. I wouldn't hold my breath on that Jump 2...hahaha.
