I talked to a few people I go to college with and one of my friends ashley told me that since PKI keeps removing her childhood rides and the park keeps losing its appeal to her so she isnt going to PKI next summer I cant say I dont blame her I will still go but a lot less.

The corporates will get theirs there will be Hell to pay for the removel of the flyers.....

Yes sir BUT did you know that in the early concept stages Kings Island was to be themed to Hanna-Barbera entirely! that means the whole park was to be themed to Hanna-Barbera Cartoons like The Flintstones,Scooby Doo,Top Cat,Yogi Bear,HuckleBerry Hound etc.

You can still ride it all of 2005 with your gold season pass.........just in a different location at Paramount's Carowinds!!!!!!!!!!!! Hello read this WHOLE thread many are like me the flyers were DEAR to them they have certain reasons why they are complaining you worked or work for PKI and thats fine I worked at PKI in 2002 I didn't like it it wasnt my cup of tea as you put it .But the fact is many people are ****ed off because the flyers are gone everytime I was at the park this summer there was a HUGE long line for the flyers which I waited in just to ride a classic fun ride with my nephews in my opinion Paramount is ruining the park move on huh?Nahhh IJ:ST looks fun and all but the fact of the matter is IJ:ST wont be kid friendly thats why I'm complaining I rode that ride when I was little and now my nephews ride it but not anymore what I'm suppose to do? let them stay in HBL & NC all day they don't like doing that. They love Coney Mall (which wont seem like coney without the flyers)

Same here... now that one of my fav rides is gone I only have 3 reasons to go to PKI.

I dont think peeps will stop going to the park just because a couple of past workers,workers and fans say the park is haunted but I will admit working late night can be very creepy.

Well the truth is alot of people voted for the Addams Family over IJ:ST plus the Addams Family could have been placed in Coney Mall and the Old cars and Flyers would most likely been left alone.

BoddaH you rock! I rather have The Flyers over IJ:ST which isnt for families its for thrill seekers besides I rather have had the Addams Family Reunion coaster over IJ:ST!

Yeah it should cover almost all paramount parks but I think Star Trek isnt included you might have to pay extra but just look the back of your pass it says where you can use it.

First off PKI has one of the most loved rides in there park and that is the flyers people arent just complaining on this great site but also on CoasterBuzz & other numerous coasterfans sites.I will admit IJ:ST will be great it's just so stupid that they have to removed such an old classic ride.But I will admit I am 2005 season pass holder I just think this sucks that PKI didnt relocate the flyers so many people love that ride it will be badly missed.And by the way I never said just because PKI is taking out the flyers that they are not a family park I said IJ:ST wont be family-friendly.I agree with BoddaH & Dirtysteve,PKIbeast Have a Nice Day! :thumbsup:

Wow. What's the big deal? The eagles are being taken out so that they can make room for their new coaster Italian Job Stunt Track. You sound like an obsessive stalker when it comes to these flyers. Truth be told, I'm sure that everytime you visited the park you rode the Eagle Flyers. Truth is, you didn't. You probably rode it once a season, in which case, you don't have the right to complain. If you want them to put it in the old flight commander spot, why don't you apply to get a job there as a coordinator for the park's ride management. I'm sure that you have the expertise to do so... why don't you just let the people at PKI do their jobs, and you do yours. Go with the flow and enjoy the new rides and say "Goodbye" to the old ones. I wouldn't say that. You never know what PKI is liable to do. I am sure that there is a good reason for it. The park wouldn't just take something out for the sake of taking it out. Sure we have talked about The Flyers the reason you havent heard anyof us talk about them is because its late season and I don't you were here then when we talked about them in Trip Reports etc.
