  1. Cookie cutter? The Blitz coasters are nothing like cookie cutter (and there are only 2 of them), more geometrical ride like http://rcdb.com/778.htm?p=1157, are cookie cutter. Blitz's are too well flowing and (obviously) not very geometrical. Would Cheetah Hunt be considered a Blitz coaster too?
  2. Where was this located? The puppet tree was located in Hana-Barbara land (now Planet Snoopy), in the area where Surf Dog now sits I believe.
  3. The puppet tree was moved to a private home. When the homeowner moved, the tree was left behind and the new homeowners took it out and had it scrapped. Here's a link of that shows photos of it being moved from the park to the home: http://www.puppethub...ngs-island-tree
  4. Maybe they're going for the old I-Street look like this. Notice that there weren't planters there when it opened.
  5. Either a B&M invert or wing rider. Those B&M wing riders look like fun. Maybe an Intamin coaster like Maverick too.
  6. According to a 1988 park map, it looks like it use to sit where Surf Dog is now; or in that area. Not 100% sure though.
  7. Here is Blabber Mouse who's the sidekick of Super Snoop
  8. Here's one from the 80's as well. Me being an amateur puppeteer, I'd always try and catch one of the shows as a kid.
  9. That's one of those shows where make up artists try to come up with cool looking creatures on someone. It's not the John Woo directed movie.
  10. X2 was the first Arrow Dynamics 4th dimensional coaster.
  11. So are the WindSeekers too.
  12. Remember Firehawk was announced on February 5, 2007 and construction didn't even start until after the park closed. A couple of questions, when did Cedar Point begin construction on Raptor or Mantis? Was it after the park closed? And yes I know Firehawk is a relocated coaster too.
  13. And it looks like it's a B&M coaster. Both the track and supports are the same color. http://www.cwmania.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=242&page=1&sort=dd
  14. Lance just changed the rumor again. Here it is: Son of Beast Rumor
  15. I did ask Don Helbig Tuesday when WS is expected to be open and he said within a week. He said that they'll be doing tests and have it certified soon.
  16. I think Clermont Steel does manufacture all B&M coasters here and overseas. Wasn't there a dive machine built overseas lately? I remember Screamscape posting photos of it at the plant too.
  17. And what's even funnier that's not his real name, which is Daniel Lawrence Whitney, or how he really talks. He's pretty intelligent when he's his real self. This is really a character he plays that makes fun of the redneck stereotypes. Here's more about him right here. I actually have 2 of his albums and I personally think he's funny.
  18. How about a certain B&M inverted coaster from CGA? Since Invertigo is going to Dorney park, maybe other rides might get relocated.
  19. And you guys thought it wasn't going to be done by April 30th.
  20. 1. Answer to First Question: Ohio History Central-Dinosaur Fossils 2. Answer to Second Question: Dinosaur Fossil Skin Impression Photos Back on topic, I will check this attraction out a couple of times this year.
  21. hey Vortex, I meant B&M Wing Walker. My bad.
  22. I think a B&M Wingrider like Raptor at Gardaland would be a perfect fit for the park. It's unique and different in this region.
  23. CoastersRZ, I read an article on the internet that the Pirate Ship was going to Sticker's Grove. I'll have to search for that article and put it here. I'm pretty sure that's what I read. Edit Update: The Pirate Ship that was sold to Stricker's Grove, will open in 2012. This is according to the Southwest Ohio Amusement Park Historical Society's Facebook page. Their link is here. It's the 2nd post that they put up. Here's the quote from them, if you guys can't get on there: "Another LeSourdsville Lake ride has been saved - the swinging pirate ship located near the main entrance has been sold to Stricker's Grove with an expected debut in 2012."
  24. That view from I-71 i'snt the best view to see WindSeeker. Heck you can hardly see anything going on at Kings Island that far away. The park did say on Facebook they were going to add a second webcam soon to show the whole construction.
