Kings Island Donates Hundreds of Coats to Local Non-Profits Kings Island, Ohio – Just when it looked like Spring was finally here, the Ohio weather is at it again. Fortunately, the warmth of WinterFest continues as Kings Island donates more than 200 coats to Hamilton County’s Salvation Army and Warren County’s Franklin Area Community Services. The coats have a zip-out liner making them appropriate for all seasons. “Kings Island has received great support from its local community over the last 35 years, and we are happy to give back,” said Greg Scheid, Kings Island vice president and general manager. “We are so glad that these wonderfully warm WinterFest coats can be put to good use, especially as the weather fluctuates this week!” The warmth of Winterfest?

Sunlite Pool! Well I pretty much grew up at that place, its also where my love of theme parks begam.. ahh the memories...

1. Have you ever been to Kings Island? Yes. 2. If yes to question 1, what do you enjoy about the park? Mainly the rides and the atmosphere. 3. If no to question 1, what type of information would you like to know about the park? 4. How old are you? 14 5. If you visited the park, would young children be visiting with you? Probablly not. 6. How much time do you spend on the computer each day? 1/2 hour - 1 hour 7. What kind of attractions would you like to know more about? Dark Rides 8. Would you be spending several days at the park? Yes 9. If yes to question 8, would you want to know more about local hotels? Yes. 10. Would a person in your group have health issues that may prevent that person from enjoying the major thrill rides? (Heart condition, pregnancy, broken bones) No. 11. Have you ever visited Kings Island’s official website? (www.pki.com) Yes. 12. If you answered yes to answer 12, what would you change about it to make it a more enjoyable experience? I'd put on some on- ride videos of some of the major thrill rides, and possibly a history section.

Wow! That would be the greatest fearfest ever.....

I think Ki def. needs a new darkride of some kind. Like a Haunted House one, not like SDATHC. It would be cool if the put it in Rivertown. The could even recast some of the old PT guys with new coustumes. I beleive Disneyland did something like that for their old "America Sings" ride, 2 of the characters were recasted in the Splash Mountain ride.

Sadly my favorite parts of the park are gone. My very favorite was probably walking into the lobby of Phantom Theatre, there was nothing else like it for me. I would sometimes saty in there for a while and just hang listening to the Maestro play... since there was really never a line. But know I walk into SDATHC and look up and I dont see the Maestro.... brings sadness to me jjust talking about it. my other favorite areas were the Tiques(RIP) and nothing beat riding the Eagles on a hot summer evening(RIP). But now, I would have to say Rivertown in general is my favorite. Especially waiting in line for The Beast at night right before the park closes. Peace, Collin

Yeah I agree. as long as you stay away from the religious part of the holiday, I think you hould be fine.

Try to find some really errie music... I know of some evil christmas kind. I saw it last at a Spirit Halloween store... Good Luck!

Yeah! that could really mess will peoples sense of realitly. Some fake wax figures and then some real people.... very good idea!

How about having the Asylum moved under the Effiel Tower. Not only that but have part of the Haunt go up into the tower where the floor at the top would be replaced by plexyglass so you can see straight through the floor! There would be a problem with the lines and getting up and down of course, but im sure theres a solution. Sure, its a bit unrealisitic but hey... why not?

Yeah I wasnt planning on defacing public property... but man... I would love to get in ther!

You and me both! Ia ctually recived a very nice book abot Coney for Chrsitmas. Its a very good book.
