I got my bid confirmed! Two interesting things...1st, after you check in at the front gate you can head straight to Rivertown Junction! 2nd, at Rivertown Junction....free breakfast!! I can't say it'll be...oh, my catering terminology learned from my bro is failing me! I'm not sure they'll have everything, but I think Giga/Angie need not worry about bringing her blueberry muffin!! I also hope at some point after checking in I can swing by a restroom en route to RJ! I don't think there'd be a prob with that? Either way, I'm definitely looking forward to Saturday now more so than ever!

Well, I got a message on my cell phone, so I'm going to call back after work. I have a few questions as well that hopefully can get answered when I do!

They just called my work phone twice now, however, it's not the best time to talk now, especially with regards to KI! So can I call them back on my cell when I leave work? A message has NOT been left either time, and I am a pretty big bid winner, but I also thought Ryan said they would just be leaving a message anyway??

Dang! The loose article thing was better than I thought!! (I normally don't have any) However, losing The Crypt lockers will suck cuz those are the one's I use!! Hopefully they've been relocated nearby! (oh yeah, up-grading them to have keyless entry with credit card payment options like Six Flags would be nice as well!!)

Well, if anything I think an hour for the First Ride Auction is a little long, but I do wonder how this will work for peeps who thought they were out of it? Are any $50 bids now still in play??

^^Forgive me if I'm violating TOS, but the only rides I can think of that do NOT have bins (mostly due to a different loading/unloading places or due to a small station like Firehawk) are Firehawk, Flight of Fear, BLSC (there's an unofficial spot, but no bins), and The Crypt. I believe most every major ride should be ok, but I'm cluessless about Nick U. (I only ride Avatar there), and I can't think of anything else that doesn't have a bin? KI's loose article policy should be the same as MiA (i.e. common sense stuff like you can't hold things, glasses must be secured, etc.)

Great to hear!!!! Here's my question, for a VERY handsome handling and transaction fee, do you think we could work out something were you could go to a Canadian Walmart and get me a few cases of Nestle Pure Life bottled water? I ask because in the States this is bottled locally, but in the early 2000's for me in Indiana it was bottled in Aberfoyle, ONT, well, sadly that did not last forever!! Last summer I went to Canada twice, and on each trip I stocked up on some cases of this water, and of course now I'm out!! And needless to say compared to where my Nestle is bottled locally, the original cases from Canada last summer were glorious, and honestly out of this 'effing world they were so d*mn good!! So anyway, would this be something you would be willing to do? Of course I would pay for all of this in advance (including your fee), and like I said I will be at RRW weekend and could get them from you then. Also, at both my board crossings last summer I did not have any trouble taking these cases across, and both times I did have to pop my trunk for a quick search, and didn't have any problems. ^^Yeah, like he said, KK's launch speeds up 3 times, while TTD's is all in one shot! Spiral's are the exact same...KK has the airtime hill, which I have gotten air on a couple times, but normally I don't. KK Pro's: *Station ridiculously better set up than TTD!! *In my 6 GAdv visits, very little down time! *Magnetic fins on top hat allow for a longer crest *Flash Pass!!!!! I've never waited longer than 30 mins to ride the front row, even on busy days! TTD Pro's: *Ridiculously smoother!! I refuse to ride KK's two green trains due to the bad vibrations (but orange and blue are ok) *Better view!! KK's is half parking lot!? *Rollbacks!! (never even seen a RB on KK in person) *Restraints...obviously the lap bar is better! So there 'ya go! But the two biggest differences in my opinion are TTD's launch is better and it's smoother.

^^What's funny is I'm enjoying this week immensely!! As Clark would always say, "Getting there is half the fun!" Plus, there's something a little quixotic about (most) of us being Diamondback "pure" if you catch my drift!!

^^GP'ers...can't live with 'em, can't live without them (or else KI would close!! ) In any event, just do like you would with a screaming 2 year-old at Culver's...ignore them and tune them out. Also, IMO, don't talk to a GP'er as if they're a fellow enthusiast, because they're not, they have no idea the difference between Intamin and B&M, and they likely still don't know SOB doesn't have a loop!! Oh yeah, more than likely they go to KI once a year and that's it!

^^Haha...yeah, I'll be coming from Indy too. I wasn't planning on waking up at my friend's apt in Cincy on Saturday morning, but depending on when things start, it might have to be that way. If the rumor is true that details will be release Friday, then I guess we'll find out then, or I could make a prediction.
