I got Two rides on DD yesterday, and then watched it run for the final time at about 8:40pm. The final riders were Dick Kinzel and Bill Sphen.

Haloweekends operates differently than the haunt. First CP keeps the family stuff open at night, limiting roamers to inside the fright zones. However, one will appear occasionally in a main midway garden. In the event of inclement weather, the fog is not used as the outdoor haunts aren't open or in limited operation. Millie does not like the cold or wind, and will run slower than normal, in fact they don't like empty seats in cold weather,in fear of a valley!

Possessed was Steel Venom from Geauga Lake, and IMO was beter then WT. The holding on the back spike is one of the best experiences out there. SF did this at GL during the Worlds of Adventure phase of the park, the end result of said behavior is well known.

That happened to me at Carowinds in '04, Hurricane Charley was moving through the area that day. The park closed at 1, which is when the sun came out and shined the rest of the day. In a surprise move, they gave out rain checks (even though I had a pass). Luckly I had already planned to go the next day.

I wish they would leave the side chain down, at Maverick you have your option of going through the store or head straight to the midway with out ducking under a chain.

Lights on FoF is the most distracting ride ever, to much stuff to look at inside the bowl.

GL's Carousel is still on site, only covered by sheets of plastic to protect it. According to CF it is waiting to be refurbished and sent to another CF park. This concerns me as CF can not maintain a carousel.

Will this coaster bang my head or try to re-align my spine, are my main fears. The other is that will the ride break down before I get to ride it.

Back in the 70's, Seaworld's then owners HBJ, inc did court Funtime to try get GL. Gasper didn't sell out and left us with a big what could have been.

CF will replace the I-Street fountain with an "Interactive" fountain, similiar to the one at CP.

GL was my home park for many years, it's where I started to love coasters. PhantomTheater who longs for another ride on the Dipper and to have a Funtime in Aurora.

It was originally Hurricane Harbor during the SF era, when CF took over they did what they do best, make bad names for attractions.

^There are plenty of other GL items at CP, you just have to look carefully.
