  1. That pretty much sums it up for all jobs that deal with people period. Although I do not like everytime I walk past a game someone is saying come play or whatever but I wouldnt flip them off.
  2. I do not actually drink alot but I like to have a few at Bubba Gumps. So if anyone ever wants to know if I am in the park just go to the back patio and yell out "BUCKLER". You can find me that way...hehehe
  3. Yeah thats cool a rootbeer it is pal!!!! I didnt want you drinking all my $6.00 beers anyhow....lmao
  4. I still hang with friends I made while working rides in the early 80s. That was over 25 years ago. KI is a good place for anyone to work. Matter of fact Myself, him and his wife go to KI together all the time. Also still have friends I hangout with when I worked there in the 90's also in the Entertainment dept. So to sum it up, my last 25 years experience working at the park has been a big part of my life, Now I have 2 kids who work there and both of them love it and have some higher up positions now. Oh yeah! Talking about people having bad attitudes! Everytime I would go to subway over by The Racer I would get horrible service and very unfriendly workers wait on me so I quit going there.
  5. lol.. I agree. I rarely ever stay a whole day at the park. I live so close we go 3 times a week or so sometimes more. Stays are usually about 4 hours in normal mode. Let me know when you are there sometime corey I will buy you a beer At bubba Gumps.
  6. I would go if they rasied the prices up to 250 bucks a year for season passes......KI is the place for me, if it is a day of rides, or just to sit around and people watch, it has a great atmosphere.
  7. Used to be when the park first opened I was real little. We would be there all day. All worn down from a day of excitement. The best times over all was at night right before the firworks started. It was dark outside and all the lights were on they were selling lighty up thingys all over international street. Was so magical, as soon as the fireworks were over and he got into our seats we would pass out from exhaustion.lol good times good times. lol. Now its like "KIDS< hurry to the car so we can beat the traffic outta here before the end of the fireworks".
  8. Nothing has changed since the invention of PEOPLE... Was the same back in the day as it is now... The first post talked about when he/she was a kid.... Nothing has changed you just grew up.... People will always be rude and obnoxious.
  9. Who Knows, I am sure they had their reasons.... I wasnt happy.
  10. Yes, it is in the very very back of Nick, kinda hidden.
  11. I agree on the Nick stage. When I first saw how they filled it in I was mortified! however they can undo that carnage or even build up a stage like they did back in 1997 in "Entertainment Tonight" at the PT. That stage was built about 2 feet above the decking we all know now......
  12. I am so happy they are bringing back some entertainment. Even if the shows would suck, it still adds to the overall atmosphere as i have stated before. Well done CF!
  13. And there will once be beer carts through out the park!!!!
  14. That is kinda what forums are for.
  15. its not really a problem woofer, its basically just something for people to ***** about....lol
  16. pkiVortex, your short post sums it up well and it is the way it should be at ki
  17. I agree however it is just RED TAPE POLITICS. I am a smoker and I hate that it is coming down to this, When I smoke I am Consious about others feelings and rights. I stay off to the side and do my business, however rights/no rights doesnt even matter at this point.... The park will do whats best for them as they should. I know several people in security and believe me the smoking ban enforcment is not high on anyones list there, unless someone is complaining or smoking like a fiend out of the correct areas. It is what it is.... And also if it goes for or against the smokers and non-smokers there is always gonna be someone out there unhappy with the result and want to cry about it.....
  18. Honestly I think this whole subject is stupid and should be locked. It looks bad. Not one person here is right or wrong. There is no winners here. Just like Global Warming. Just aint gonna change anything. If they allow smoking or not...sheesh
  19. I could careless if they are old or new, I like them all. Sure I am disapointed in some things that have changed however I will go reguardless.
  20. I have been to Disney. and although it is a great place. To a previous post: KI and Dis are in two different leagues. I wish people would not compare them.
