The Eiffel Tower. That way I can look around at each ride and remember the last time I was on it.
  2. Opening day 1972, I was having withdrawals from missing my beloved Galaxi (Bavarian Beetle) and just had to ride it. Of course my girl friend soon to be wife thought I was crazy and that opinion of me has not changed. I discovered the web site while I was in Germany about 2 years ago, I was browsing rcdb.com and decided to take a look at some of the fan sites listed at the different parks. Good or bad here I am.

Modern day M.A.S.H. units are tents and they have portable chillers and cooling towers to go with them (a chiller and cooling tower is a large a.c. unit for large buildings). They usually are set up with several tents (about 10 grouped together) to form a complete hospital. Also there was a tent at the Bass pro shop that had a space to fit a window a.c. unit, but I did not get the make on the tent.
  4. Just wait until one of the internet predators ends up on date line looking to hook up with S.O.B.
  5. I would like to see an out and back without the back. With the new seat belts going in on some of the coasters, some people will have to loos some weight to fit. I was thinking of starting it next to top gun and running it along the front of the park all the way out to the southern most corner of the south lot. Have a fence so you have to walk all the way back to the entrance of the coaster. We could call it the Richard Simmons coaster.
  6. Wonderfull news italianchef, i'm glad you had a great time. I did one up you though, I was afforded the oppertunity to dine at Le Jules Verne on the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower. Although I did not get away with a 4 course meal for 2 under $300,(it was actualy $386 or 288 euro) I was able to dine in shorts and sport shirt. I have had several business dinners at Jean-Robert at Pigall's and I thought the service was better than Le Jules Verne, but every where you go in Paris it is very laid back and hard to find good service for Americans. I hope your new job works out for you good luck.
  7. Well it dose, and there is a posibility that that guy has not been to the park since they painted it all white. However unlikely depending on who you are talking about. Also I would just like to add that the front gate will be open on opening day.

^ I thought every one was fluent in Hungarian, I appoligize. Translation: None of you know what you are talking about. referencing the German language debates.

Nulla bol te tud amennyi te vannak beszelo miatt.
  10. Only one running is in the Netherlands and that is 2 years old, and one is under construction on the Gold cost. It will open latter this year.
  11. Been there done that. And yes it is cool. A little slow but a whole different feeling. Did a service call for Vekoma to the Netherlands. I am surprised a U.S. park has not gotten one yet. Intamin's version is faster, but I don't think they have the guts to do any thing different for the track lay out. http://www.rcdb.com/ig2747.htm
  12. Most Structure decay is due to climate. Most building materials expand and contract with the weather, that is why we put climate control systems (furnace and A/C) in buildings. Also proper maintenance such as paint or stain on the exterior of the structure is crucial. So if you are saying that if someone dies in a house, the house will die with them if no one occupies it, then you are correct. After all, I think it will be hard for a ghost to maintain a house.
  13. ^Yes Duet for One was good, but I used S.O.B. because of the dual implications. If you don't get it then I would like to direct you to a six flags fan web site. Any would do.
  14. ^Rent a movie called S.O.B. She has them, that is for shure!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. That picture is from New Orleans about 2 or 3 years ago. Good one though, you should see my Goofy costume!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I think it should be mandatory that you change your user name to FABIO!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. ^There is a story about Coney that my mother would tell me on the way to the park, about the river ghosts. She would never call them ghosts, she would just say "the ones who never made it to shore" I would laugh about it until one day I was in the middle of telling one of my friends the story and I stopped because of what was behind the Moonelite pavilion. Let's just say the lighting was not that great, because I do not believe in ghosts, a paranormal occurrence possibly but not ghosts. Now at Kings Island, I was doing some work in the lower control room of FOF and that phone would ring and when you answered it there was no one there just static. I unplugged the phone and it rang when they launched the ride, I moved it across the room and it stopped, but when it was plugged in it just rang at random launch or no launch. I thought it was a fun game, I just did not know who I was playing with.
  18. Be careful on how you read those reports, they are just simple statements with very little info. Do your research on any that you are interested in. Don't just take one or two web sites word for it.
  19. Star Trek Theme and Superman Theme played long before Paramount. The big one was a song called Flight of the Phoenix I believe. Time to restore the area musics. Flight of the Bumble Bee is the name of the song although I do like the movie Flight of the Phoenix!!!!!!
  20. ^^I didn't think any one would get it, but you have proven me wrong. Thank you and of corse Pink Floyd.
  21. (David Gilmour) Momma loves her baby, and daddy loves you too. And the sea may look warm to you babe And the sky may look blue But ooooh babe Ooooh baby blue Oooooh babe. (Roger Waters) If you should go skating On the thin ice of modern life Dragging behind you the silent reproach Of a million tear-stained eyes Don't be surprised when a crack in the ice Appears under your feet. You slip out of your depth and out of your mind With your fear flowing out behind you As you claw the thin ice. (David Gilmour) Ooooooh, Babe. Now we are off topic!!!!! Or are we??????????
  22. RCDB.com just changed the park name take a look!!!!!!! http://www.rcdb.com/pd12.htm
  23. ^I couldn't have done it without your post, but I'll take the credit any ways!!!!!!!!
  24. ^Think heart shaped loop!!!!!! (I call patent)
  25. When is the last time you rented a plane and a pilot and took pictures of your own? every thred you have something to whine about. Do something for yourself for once, and quite depending on mommy. I would go on, but you are not worth it. good bye. P.S. : you can see the top of the helix from the parking lot, just not from that angle. Man people start using your head and think before you post. You have more blond moments than any one on here!!! O.K. now I am done..........I think.
