well if everything's not quite up and ready for public by the 14th, theyve got another, what, 3 days of opening weekend to get it right?.....*still thinks its odd that opening weekend counts a monday*

TRTR does have pretty bad vandalism issues, some of which other rides have very little to none of. especially the monkey statue things. some of the stuff i see on them, i dont want to know what it is but yeah paint peeling is/was really bad on The Beast que rails and stuff. *sigh*

wow does mapquest have ITS wires crossed xD according to it, the directions they gave me should take about 4 mins from the complete other side of the park. wouldnt be the first time >.<

yep. There's one on Kings Center Ct. not even 2 miles from the park (so says the mapquest.) i knew there was one, you can see it from about any tall ride in the park. i just didnt know how to get there....but here's what the mapquest says Start out going NORTHEAST on Kings Island DR toward BRANT CONN. 1.8 Miles (That would be like a left out of the parking lot.) Turn LEFT onto KINGS MILL RD. 0.1 miles End at Outback Steakhouse 2512 Kings Center Ct, Mason, OH 45040

question, sort of on topic of theming (like the spongebob colors thing). i was looking at the construction pics and i saw that the LazyTown SportaCopters have a red track (though i havent seen whats going on with the vehicles), the OddCoaster track is still purple (though the trains are an appropriate pink) and the DP Flyers are pink and green. maybe it's just me but i thought the rides would have more theming when it comes to colors. like pink AND green for the OddCoaster and some blue, pink, and purple/orange theme for the SportaCopters. i dont really know a DP theme color but Pink and green has Fairly OddParents written ALL over it. o well, i guess ill have to wait and see it m'self next sunday. *hopeful and optimistic*

amen. even though it is only 2 weeks from today, it feels like a millenium some times. (though this year i oddly am not looking forward to opening day as i usually am).... oh and does anybody know WHY there are no 11 closes? those were some of my favorite day/nights!

yeah. i felt even worse when he locked the thing with the little hook lock thingy. all cuz some jerk jumped into my seat when i went over to put my jacket up.

yeah i hope you have a great time! and dont let those IJST haters influence anything you think xD it alll depends on the person....personally i dont lean either way on how good it is. as for the kid corral, i know beast has one....i got put in it last season i wuz 18 and i had to sit in the kiddy corral >.<

yeah so they havent updated CM much... but too much of an update on the midway would make it lose its classic-ness which is the whole idea of CM...or was anyway, whether it is or not nowadays, i dunno. doesnt really seem to be....

yeah i think the cars...vehicles....the things they ride in ( ; ) are supposed to look like blue and magenta.....no love for periwinkle (*sarcastic "awwwwwwww"*) but that is still nowhere near dumbo or aladdin or one fish two fish

yeah when i went to (finally) get my ID made saturday, some was on a truck in the parking lot, some was laying in the parking lot, and still more was in nick u....

well, the music over by The Vortex might change this year as there is another motion sim over there with bob....but since there's a spongebob neighborhood or whatever at Nick U....chances are good for "ARE YA READY KIDS?!" or whatever the words are...i switch it off about at the pause before he says it xD... but hey, maybe ill hear more cozzy (cosmo) than bob....*pray pray* wow, orientation saturday....*nervous*... (btw.....in my opinion, the loading drums of Tomb Raider is much more standable because you cant really tell sometimes when it starts again....unlike that luau stuff at the Theatre...) and who all here is working rides and where?

yeah when i went thursday to fill out the final bit of paperwork, i saw some blue and green thing in the parking lot. there was a short crane with a hook getting ready to do something (the cable was lowering when i had to go in or i would have watched...plus it was raining).....that what you're talking about? o.o; thats all i saw...they havent even painted The Beastie/Fairly OddCoaster yet...just the trains as far as i know... *prays for no opening day/week/month problems with the new rides...shades of face/off and tomb raider....(*shiver shiver*) *

nope, not Vortex. Nick U. rides i heard mentioned were the Fairly OddCoaster and the LazyTown SportaCopters. and whatever the little car ride turned into (i think it used to be the alleycat 500 or something like that) i think its now called Blues Skidoo or something....maybe thats the wrong ride. *shrug* anyone else on here working Nick U?
