  1. We were supposed to get that park out on the west side, but it fell through a long time ago. I'm still disappointed about that one, although I don't think it was gonna be much.
  2. It wasn't safe back then...they didn't trim the crap out of it...
  3. 1989- Waterworks opened...and we lost the Zodiac and der Spinning Keggers...I feel old now that I know that theres been enough time for an attraction to come and go in my lifetime, or at least get changed drastically...
  4. I find the pop machines in the line to be kinda useless...But I also usually go in the middle of the week when it's pretty much a walk on. I've never seen anyone use them, and since you can't carry them on the ride, why spend 3.50 on a Coke I'm gonna only drink half of before having to throw it out.
  5. I can only think of one complaint, and i'll get over it quickly, but I spy some Firehawk-esque canopies over the queue...Here's hoping for some hard core mister fans when it get's hot and sunny. Sorry, I just noticed this was already mentioned, I didn't wait on the whole page to load before I posted...
  6. This is way off topic, although I will be at the park in 2 weeks...I think the title gives me a good reason to post this? Is it improper for the employee of the month to put in two weeks notice the day after receiving his award?
  7. I work in a fast food joint...unfortunately...and every time I hear the co2 tank (for the soda fountain) pop and hiss, I think of Pneumatic brakes... It depends on my mood whether I think of trim brakes or the end of a great ride...
  8. Or they may have just painted it or something...? Ben...the voice of argument tonight.
  9. you're right about the thrty six feet, I didn't have the numbers right in front of me, I was close though...As for the experience, I've never been on either so I'll take your word for it.
  10. What you have to remember, most people out there, besides us, don't realize this and are not aware of the existance of these clones. And while Kingda Ka is eerily similar to TTD, it's 20 feet taller and slightly faster.
  11. I'm working at CP this summer, so hopefully, I'll make it down two or three times, I know I'll be there once for Diamondback of course.
  12. I'll be there with you...I'm gonna die on a coaster. I've got it planned out...sorta...I'm not sure which one, but I will know when the time is right...
  13. I always have trouble with it, but I chalk it up to the fact that I'm usually sharing an internet connection with 2490432 people in the Indiana State library when I try to get on it.
  14. I don't mind going it alone, in fact most everything I do by myself... I went and saw A7X at the Murat in Indy a couple weeks ago and it was amazing. Halestorm and Gwen Stacy opened for them, I'd never heard of them before and they were decent, maybe not my favorite, but they were pretty good. Avenged Sevenfold blew me away though, we were about thirty feet back from the stage, right in front of Synyster Gates. His solo was phenomenal, especially when it built up and they just started jamming with it. And The Rev is my hero, if I could choose one person to influence my drumming it would be him, and in fact he has quite a bit...
  15. I find Kyle Petty funny at the end, I forgot what he used to look like...I miss the early nineties fashions...
  16. Oh im sure somebody did...just none of us...
  17. I once thought I found it ^ but it turns out it was only one die...we couldn't play Monopoly... Wow...I will never try to be funny again. Anyway...I pop in and out all day for ten or fifteen at a time, and catch up on everything....eeeevery once in a while I chime in...usually with useless stuff like my feeble attempt at a paradise pun...
  18. Not to be confused with RCDB...or SBNO...or any other of the hundred million acronyms we have running around...
  19. I start work at Cedar Point on May 11 (my birthday)...it seems much closer on this end of February...
  20. I can see that going both ways...however, you have to ask yourself what a year and a half year old would get out of a trip to a museum...While it's good to spend quality time with your children and such, there are city parks and all sorts of places that gladly welcome strollers. I don't know, I'm not a parent, that day is hopefully a ways away, for my sake and yours .
  21. I was thinkin the TV show, Married with Children lol...I probably have the show and the movie combined...I was at a very young age when they were popular.
  22. His name isn't Al is it? Love and maaaariage...yeah I'll stop.
  23. I forgot about all the stuff they did in there last year...sad day...I thought I had some brilliant logic. However they do seem to be putting a lot of work into it...
  24. not to mention new carpet...Why would you put new carpet in an area your not going to use?
  25. Sad day...sort of...I can't go now, I get out of school on the 8th, and have to turn around and report at Cedar Point on the 11th...which happens to be my birthday...There's no way I could come home and then turn around and leave for the summer again with no preparation...
