Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
Haha I hope we get lots of snow. I just got one of those speed tubes for xmas and I can't wait to use it. Keep in mind I just moved back to Indy from Florida in April. I haven't seen a decent amount of snow in 5 years.

Haha RailRider may I add your quote to my signature? That is the funniest thing I have heard all day! Anyways back to Diamondback. The hammerhead looks amazing. I can't believe the amount of work that they have gotten done already. I remember how long I had to wait to ride Sheikra. Even with Busch Gardens having no off season it still took quiet a long time to complete.

Then according to you the MCBR on SoB aren't trim brakes either or Vortex. They all trim the speed of the train!

Uhhh ^^ Yes it does!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_eWopQSB7o Check at 46 seconds! you can also see them in this pic. Chang **EDIT** Also Trim brakes allow for more trains to be ran which increases ride capacity!

On all the B&Ms I have ridden I haven't noticed the trims at all. I didn't even notice them on Mantis. Of course the last time I rode Mantis I was trying to keep my wallet from falling out of my back pocket!

Don't try to prove him wrong it will be a long and lonely rode for you my friend. Unrealsk8er remembers his first mistake that was corrected by the Terp like it was yesterday. Back then I still had the user name Coasetrfreak123. If he even remembers. A clue is it was about a certain ride at Kentucky Kingdom that had to be evacuated a few times.

I have been on quite a few B&Ms (ill get the exact number here in a few.) Every single ride on every single coaster has been smooth. So say what you will I think its a safe guess to say DB will be way smoother than SoB. 9 would be the number of B&Ms I have ridden. Chang, Montu, Kumba, Sheikra, Dueling Dragons (Fire and Ice), Raptor, Mantis, and Kraken. Hoping to add two more for next year Manta and Diamondback.

First trip to cedar point tips please
My dad has a 40inch waistline and weighs about 250 and he fit in every ride. Was kinda snug but he fit.

What is your favorite type of roller coaster?
It has entirely new trains and there are some pyrotechnics. Originally there was supposed to be a tunnel with some lighting effects but they dropped that idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooTbx_AwyFk

What is your favorite type of roller coaster?
It is now called X2 and according to Magic Mountains website it has moved from a 4th dimension coaster to a 5th.

What is your favorite type of roller coaster?
I'm going to say wooden coasters are my favorite not just to ride but they are beautiful to look at as well. That's why I spend most of my time designing wooden coasters on No Limits. **EDIT** You forgot Euro Fighter.

And did everyone wake up the next morning hung over and noticed all the snow disappeared? j/k Anyways. Is the station going to drop off/pick up guests in the same location or will it be two different spots where you get on and where you get off like a lot of other B&Ms?

What New Services Should KIC Offer?
I'd definitely by a T-shirt. I'd wear it opening day too. The chat room idea sounds good as well.
