Welcome back HTCO. Unless the gigantic batwing with the huge radii scrubs off alot of speed there is no way b&m will allow it to fly through that element at max speed.

I went down it friday evening and while going through the tube my mat ran up on the sides and I went upside down. I fell on my back and went through the rest of the slide on my back head first with no mat. It was pretty fun, it scared my wife and baby though. Has this happened to anyone else?

Personally I don't like the way things are going. Seems so much like paramount IMO. I don't see his plans for anything thrilling and exciting.

Batman is my favorite b&m invert. Every six flags park I go to I make it a point to ride it. Some people prefer intense some don't.

YoungStud, I had a similar fear early on but now knowing that the ride is going to reach top speed later in the ride It could be B&M's step in a better direction for the more forceful rides it used to make. I had the same, but look at the size of the elements. The bigger the elements the less force. Look at how large the batwing is compared to montu's.

I agree with homer. I am leery of marketing a ride as being a fun ride. To me that sounds like it will be forceless like Gatekeeper.

Went to the park last night and DB was down around 30 minutes or so.

Tallest fastest invert is better marketing than longest invert.

Everything can always be worse bro. The hype of this announcement and it will end up being a forceless long invert is a bummer. Its like your 16 and your parents get you a POS car, you are dissapointed cause you wanted something a little better. Then your parents say, it is transportation and will get you where you want to go.

Montu was built in the 90's before b&m went forceless. I love Montu and kumba.

Welcome Momma, If it was the winter of 92 and Top gun opened in 93, they probably announced the ride before Winterfest. The replica would be there to generate sales for season passes for the next season. Back on the announcement day of Italian job, as soon as you walked in there was two or three mini coopers in front of the fountains.

Revamp the whole area. The ride is so short and it uses alot of great terrain.
