Sorry but this might be off topic a bit,but is the smurf's coming back to the park for a dark ride agian in the future? I remember reading a post on here about a movie coming out...

I'm thinking we won't get no more coasters like SOB that are very High,fast for our hometown park PKI. The park seems like its going for more family oriented rides,maybe some flat rides that are thrilling for the family.

Wonder why they would need more extra time and close it down so early before the season is over with... Retracking a lot or new trains what would it be closed so early for?

I read on coasterbuzz forums what a person was talking about the new area what they thought. This kind of family fun is what brings in the BUCKS! Familys spend money food shopping ect. Yes a new world class record breaking coaster would have been better for me....but this addition will have me taking a family of 5 and instead of a one day mega drive and ride from Chicago costing me a couple of hunded buck it will turn into a $800 family weekend...PKI will get my money next year..... I agree very much with this person we could get another coaster after we bring in the bucks and attract more familys from the local area and all over the country here. That would get us a lot of attention in the country.

I think its a great name,also I can't wait to take my niece to the new area next season.

I was there yesterday also and got there around 3 the crowd was not bad at all. Rode a couple rides and didn't have to wait no longer then half a hour for anything except ITJ the line was about an hr. I have to say I love the tunnel in the dark after the helicopter. That part is my favorite part of the ride because you can't tell which direction your going.

I think it would be awsome if PKI could design plans for a Ski resort. Since we are going to have a new family indoor water park resort,why not try to come up with more family oriented projects that could bring familes to park when the rides are closed over the winter months. I'm just being creative and curious if it could or would ever happen.

Procter & Gamble day was very crowded last year just like a crowded weekend in the summer on Saturday would be. Waits were about hour to hour half almost. I got there around noon last year and that was proably my problem. I'm looking forward to going this Saturday got tickets from my mom. Another visit free I get to enjoy this season.

I know this topic has been brought up on these boards before,but will PKI purchase another stand-up coaster in the future?

I was up in New York and went to Playland and was up on a ferris wheel there and let me tell you I was very scared. It seemed like my cusions and I were not secured very good. I don't think ferris wheels are my kind of ride. I will do anything else that is secure but a ferris wheel. I don't like when you rock a little bit when it slows down and your at the top.

I haven't been once this year. I will be going in Sept for P&G Divided Day on the weekend of the 17th&18th. Then Pride night with some friends which is always a lot of fun in the end of the month.

My summer has been busy working @DELL in West Chester. I'm looking forward to the fall coming up. Its been a hott summer working in the warehouse there. I'm looking forward to the leaves changing, football season GO BENGALS WHO DEY!!! The cool weather,cool breezes,fearfest...

I don't think these people know about sinking with roller coasters. They are just hearing rumors that are not even true about The Vortex.

That is a good question I think also. We know about winterfest but is there anything else happening next year in the park...

How fast will they sell out for Winterfest?
