Yes - I wish that one was still around. An inverting woodie in my home town of Louisville! There were plenty of REAL inverting wood coasters. They pulled extreme amounts of G force - like over 7 Gs. They were downright dangerous. Keep in mind the Clothoid Vertical Loop wasn't invented until the 1970s - interestingly enough by the man who designed Son of Beast!

My favorite B&M by far has to be Nemesis at Alton Towers. It is just such an intense ride - and the theming can't be beat!

I know it is still a crowd favorite - but I think King Cobra has lived to a ripe old age. Maybe they could replace it with a couple of high thrill flat rides? Perhaps a HUSS Jump2 or a Giant Frisbee!

Thats quite a work of art they're erecting there ain't it? I haven't been up to the Point in a few years. Maybe I'll have to pack myself, Mrs. Admiral and Toddler Admiral up in the family van and head up next year.

Kind of speaks for itself don't it? And I have to agree with S500. If memory serves me right, there is a little guest relations booth there near the Eiffel Tower. I could be wrong though - since I live in Louisville and don't get up to Kings Island much... That would be a perfect location!

Wow - I haven't posted in a while - but I just wanted to say how excited I am that Kings Island is now part of the Cedar Fair family. I hope that they really turn things around for the park - and undo all the damage that Paramount did. Now if they would only come down and buy MY home park!

Yes - it was a very fun trip. I will be there just about every day in the post season. I hope that everyone will come out to help save top gun! I don't have to ask to ride with other peoples sons anymore since I have my own - Baby Admiral. In a few months he will be upgraded - Toddler Admiral! But yeah it was fun. Nobody eats blue icecream like Lesbirex!

Indeed. I am good friends with his sister. Shes kind of cute but im married, and shes not into guys... It was a lot of fun. I was at the park today again and ran into his sister. She is quite a character!

Check out Discovery.com (discovery channel) and do a search for Son of Beast. That will take you to the page. I don't care enough to go do it myself and give you a link. Sometimes you actually have to WORK for things in life... I don't look at the site often cause I have my own POV videos of most of the rides on there, as well as POV videos on many PKI rides including Beast, Son of Beast, Top Gun, FACE/OFF, Drop Zone, Delirium, Slingshot (the video you buy for 10 bucks after riding), Adventure Express, Racer Forward, Racer Backward, Flight of Fear, Vortex, Italian Job, Beast, Tomb Raider, Reptar, Beastie and Quick Draws Railway (myself, Mrs Admiral and Baby Admiral riding). I also have countless POV videos from other parks as well.
