  1. The splash pool was filled? Is it really shallow? I wish I could havev seen it splash up from my view. Oh well. The ride looks awesome regardless. If anyone thought I was dissing it that was not the intention. At the time it didn't look like it was just a slow ride but slow for that part of the track. If you would have seen it, it really looked like it wouldn't make it up the spial. Not a diss just an observation. Like someone said earlier it's not like they were trying to make a huge, fast rollercoaster but more of mixed media ride. I bet it goes slower too because the brake all over it make it feel like a real car chase( also to probally accelerate the whole fish tail thing) I can't wait for may 19th ( or 20th whenever it opens)
  2. I was wondering if anyone knew where they kept old rides theming like Phantom theater and the smurfs, King Cobra, Turnpike Cars etc... I was planning on making a film Documentary about the park and I'm going to include all the rides from Coney till now and if anyone works there and knows where and if they have old rides still there I would appreciate any information at. Thanks..
  3. Does anyone know where they store all the old stuff like phantom theater figuires and the tique cars?
  4. P.S. to the post above. Does the coney mall and rivertown look extremely weird without the antique cars to anyone else.
  5. I was just at Kings Island today and I got to see the IJST run it's course a couple times. To tell you the truth it looked pretty slow because it practically crawled up the spiral at the begining(almost coming to a complete stop at the end of it) but i'm guessing their not running it at it's full speed yet, just probally running the early phase of the tests.(their wasn't any weighted dummies in any of the cars) The splash pool at the end has yet to be filled and the waiting line rails are still being put up but basically everything is up and running. The helicopter scene with the explosions and fire looks awesome and the fire that shoots out is an incredibley tall flame that booms even louder each time it goes off with extra help from a sound system. The only down side is that it is really short, and only lasted about a minute tops even when it was running relly slow(thats counting the big pause by the helicopter and gas pumps).
  6. Sticking with the main topic of the thread , I just rode FoF today and the lights were in fact off. I was kinda disappointed because I wanted them on so I could see the old King Cobra cars inside.
