Didn't see that topic posted. Just seemed strange that they were having an auction I guess.

I just read on Norton Auctioneer's website that there is going to be a sale at Wyandot Lake on November 29th. I thought Columbus Zoo bought Wyandot lake from Six Flags and was planning to keep it open. I just saw that PKI got the Golden Ticket for Best Childrens Area once again and also Timberwolf got best Venue. When do these reports come out?

To bad it won't get torched and something new put in it's place.

Kings Island never got into trouble for animal abuse that I can ever recall. My brother worked at KI back then and he was on one of the crews that cleaned the tanks. Your just starting rumors.

Well once again I have to repost this as someone keeps taking it down but this is not meant as a bad thing so here it is again, I have a friend who lives at Kings Island. Actually lives in the SDATHC in a hole in the wall. He over heard Cedar Fair talking and they say they are going to tear down Kings Island to make room for Condo's and Apartments. They are going to leave The Beast, SDATHC, and The Racer. They want to sell memberships so you can ride them anytime you want. I can't tell you who my friend is as this would be against Kings Island policy.

I agree. Over the next few years you will see changes in names and themeing but nothing major as of yet.

I would love to see it go back to plain ol' Kings Island. Simple yet to the point.

I think it will be a couple years before you see any changes to the name of any attractions at any of the parks. I think Cedar Fair is going to continue on with the Paramount theme for a while seeing how Nick Universe was just installed. Only time will tell what is going to happen. I am just happy that Six Flags didn't buy any of the Paramount parks. It would have spelled disaster if they had.

The WAH lasted till Paramount took over the park. I believe it left in 1993 but i could be wrong.

I have to say my Kids would welcome Yogi and Fred in the front yard.

Would be nice if they would sell them off. I would buy it if they decide sell it.

You are absolutly correct. Although no one has proof positive that Ghost or spirits do exsist, there are alot of unexplained occurance's that have happened in the world. I am not trying to give a bible lesson or church lesson, but explain to me how Jesus became a spirt if Ghost and Spirits don't exsist? He manifested into a spirt and arose from the dead, so that there is proof enough for me.

Having an elevator has nothing to do with it. It was never advertised as being "Handicap Accessible" therefore no codes are being violated. As far as health codes IR only need to do minor upgrades to reopen. It will not happen as PKI does not want to spend the money.

Why wouldn't someone want to go to KI year round. I think it's a great idea. KI needs a few more indoor attractions but I think with the right planning, and marketing KI would be a great park to open year around.

I wold love to see some of the old themeing used from past Winterfest. What a great picture that would be.

Anything they do to SDATHC is better than what it is now.

I think I would rather eat at Festus instead of Bubba Gumps. Sound like a better deal.
