Well, it turns out that my family will be in town on the 13th, and we will be visiting the park after my shift is over, so I will miss all of your book signings. Oh well, at least I meet you at FoF in that short time before your launch. I hope alot of other people can make it!

If you sit in the back seat of X, on a seat on the very edge, it REALLY bounces you around. And of course, I found that out the hard way. The rides at SFMM were amazing (Scream is my new fav coaster I've ever been on, you might see me wearing a Scream shirt at PKI sometimes), but the customer service sucks. Line-jumping everywhere (especially at the 2 hour line for X), and it seems like the employees just don't care at all about the guests. Also, the lines are horrible. At least they have Fast Lane tickets you can buy so you get a shorter line (much like WOW at PKI). I actually enjoyed my stay at KBF much better, and I expect them to start competing with the big boys in the theme park world (Xcel).

X was the roughest steel I had ever been on in my life. I couldn't enjoy it at all with all of the banging around!

No, I was standing right between the mirror and the door, i made sure I had the right angle. Even if I didn't have the right angle, the lights going out just as I started singing that song was pretty creepy.

Another creepy thing happened while I was working today, this time at FoF. I was bored and was waiting for the next train to pull into the station (I was working unload). I noticed that I could see two blue lights right next to each other through the door into the employee only area. I only saw the reflection though (there is a mirror that lets the person see back there while still running the ride). It looked kinda weird, like two eyes. I turned around and looked through the door, positioned myself between the door and the mirror, but I couldn't see it! I looked back in the mirror and saw it again! I could only see these mysterious lights in the mirror! Well, I am still waiting for the next train (must've been trying to get a large guest in or something to that effect), and I'm bored so I start singing some random tune I think up to the effect of "hello ghosts, hello ghosts" (The lights/eyes were creeping me out). As soon as I start singing that, the lights in unload go off for a second or two, then come back on. I then hear a laugh coming from the employee area door (where the lights were coming from). Some people may say that the lights are just the blue lights from under the track reflecting off of something, possibly the train, but it can't be, because they could only be seen in the mirror!

As you know, I brought the idea to make an article comparing PKI to Six Flags Magic Mountain and Knott's Berry Farm. I haven't started writing the article yet (with work and all), but I do have notes and pics. Here are some pics: Mini-Delirium! Yay! And their big coaster, Xcelerator! I heard it get struck! I was in the coney arcade playing DDR waiting for the storm to pass, when I heard a huge bang, seemingly right next to the arcade. Tons of people screamed and ran in, so I knew it was very, VERY close, but I didn't expect it to be The Beast that was struck!

*would rather kill himself* Weird Al is sooooo much better, because he makes fun of the pop artists, like Aaron Carter (pop sucks).

White Water Canyon is creepy at night! I was working it on the 4th when my last encounter with ghosts happened. Control Tower 2 is the haunted tower at WWC. I'll tell the stories I heard about it that night later. And yes, I'll be so afraid to walk through RT again at night around midnight because of that one night!

Agree that something is going on with The Beast relating to hauntings. He haunts the whole ride, but especially the second tunnel.

BACK ON TOPIC After that night I talked about way back on page 2 (which I posted on just about 2-3 nights ago...), I now do believe that the park is haunted. I mean, THE RIDE WAS OFF, YET IT STILL SHOT OFF WATER! Here's some stories I have heard about Beast I have been told by people that work on it, and work near it (in Rivertown). One night, two sound people were back in the woods near Beast to fix a speaker that was on the fritz. They get up to it and the speaker is making the most horrendous sound ever. It sounds as if someone is screaming. They try to work past the screaming, but they fail. They call another sound person by the power box and tell him to cut the power to that speaker. They wait, and it still continues. Eventually, they call back in. "Why didn't you cut the power?" asks one employee. "What are you talking about? I already did!" Let's just put it this way... people from sound don't go back into Beast's woods at night anymore, only during the day. A Beast supervisor, told me that on the last day of operations, on the last train of the year, about 10 people from the train claimed to see a person down in the second tunnel (the haunted one). It wasn't like they were all from one group. They were from several different groups, in several parts of the train. Other rumors about the ride is that occasionally the train will stop itself in the second tunnel, stranding the riders in it until they can get the ride up and running again. Others say sometimes riders, who were sitting in the front seat, will come back from the ride and claim that they saw someone jump off of the top of the second tunnel, onto the track, and then go through the train. The people at the photo booth confirm this, by saying that there have been occasions where they can see an outline of a person as the train goes through. Next ghost stories, White Water Canyon!

I'm sorry for bringing back an old topic, but recent events are making me bring it back! On the 4th, I was working WWC when the storms came in. After we shut down the ride and got everyone out, we were sitting around talking and playing UNO (with massive cheating going on). I started a conversation about the ghosts of the park, and it grew and grew. I then found out that WWC is supposedly haunted. I didn't believe it at first, because I hadn't heard anything about it yet. I thought they were just joking. So I started cracking jokes and playing pranks. One included daring a person to page tower 2 (the haunted tower) and try to contact the ghosts. Well, at the end of the night, I'm walking out of the park and going by Thornberries River Adventure. The elephant at the end only squirts water when a boat goes by. Well, at 12:20, with the ride power OFF, just as I am walking by it, IT STARTS TO SQUIRT! Now, I normally wouldn't have thought much about it, just a normal malfunction, but with me talking about ghosts, and making fun of ghosts all night, while working on a haunted ride, made me think twice about it. So has anyone else had anything really creepy like this happen to them at the park?

It was much better watching the show from Coney Mall. No crowd, and fireworks on either side! (tower on one side, field on the other)

Hmmmm...... I'll try to get to the 13th signing ASAP, but it will be pretty close to 5.
