  1. Well, hello. A lot of you (espeically from the old PKIU site, or other people I've worked with at Kings Island) can probably figure out who I am, even though I'm not using the same screen name. I just have a question about the whole re-application thingy. I got an application in the mail last winter and was told I have auto-rehire status (I gave close to 3 weeks notice when I quit last September). I filled it out and mailed it in (I couldn't go the slideshow). However, I have recieved no acknoweledgement that they got it (I did get a letter in the past). I also can't go the returner's processing weekend cause I'm up here in Columbus at Ohio State and have a weekend job up here (another hint of who I am). Is there something that I was supposed to get but didn't or something? I gave them address for up here in Columbus, so I doubt that they sent stuff back to my home in Cincinnati. I appreciate your help.
  2. Generally, rides are paired with another ride close by to it. For example, Son of Beast is paired with Top Gun, Face/Off is paired with Congo falls, Dodgems was paired with Antique Cars when it was still there...you get the idea. I have no idea what Vortex is paired up with. As for applying, just go to a job fair in February. You generally get hired on the spot.
