FOF/Z 4-ever

There are other campgrounds in the area. You dont have to stay in a campground that is on the parks ground you know! There is a wonderful campground 2 exits north of Kings Island on 71 with a great view of the Little Miami River. Also, you can get a site that is actually next to the river!! Did PKI's campsite have that? I don't think so. Why are soo many people too hard headed to go to another campground if they insist on camping?

Yea, it was removed. It was in the location that the pathway is today that takes you back to FOF. They made the track straight and added the bridge. Next time you go to FOF, take a close look. In that pic, it shows the last bunny hop to be right next to the main lift. When you see it today, there is not bunny hop there. Just soemthing you wont catch unless you were told about it or looked for it. EDIT: However, I do not believe FOF sits as far back as that link says it does. If you look in that last pic, it shows a pathway. I believe they made that pathway wider and FOF sits now somewhere by that red shack. Correct me if I am wrong. It could be the angle of the pic, but I dont believe it sits that far back.

Or how about the girls that come off of white water canyon. Boy do I have stories, lol

When I worked there, I loved the atmosphere and being there with my fellow co-workers and friends. It was the best place to be all summer and I would never trade it for anything. Besides, I found my 1st love there and am still with her

Also remember that this is the very 1st time for fearfest this year (except for Dry Run), so they are just getting the feel. They will get a lot better. I have faith in PKI. Only if I could get a day off and I would love to go. From the highway, the fog looked amazing. I imange if you saw it from a plane, you would see nothing but a foggy area with lights, lol.

I didn't go to the Park b/c I had to work. However, my job is a five min walk from Kings Island, so I decided to drive by to see how it looked. The Tower lights were off and it was very very foggy. Infact, It was soo foggy that it covered 71. I hope it was not as bad as you say it was. I have a few friends who are there and I will check w/ them to see how it actually went.

Same here. I thought we were talking about the Action Theater turntable that is between the two theaters outside in the que.

It is still there and you can see if from the line. It still works, but they dont have it running on a daily basis. Sometimes they turn it.

As far as I know, PKI never said that they were going to change the name on Beastie. As far as we know, It will stay the same. Dont get your hopes up yet guys.

FYI, he did post this in the other park section. He knows what he is doing and saying. He was making a suggestion. Yes, we should talk about other parks too or our experience (hince trip reports). But if you read this very 1st post, you know why he posted this.

I am not quite sure if it was a good idea to send the media a link to this. Main reason is that they can now use this whole site (Pkicentral) to get inside information on PKI. Such as rumors that are spread around here, the media may be able to use it. Or if someone from PKI leaks info on here (and is not suppose to), the media can get that and use it. I know that this site is open to anyone, but now, we acutally just gave them permision to visit this site and possiably use it to their advantage.

Well, with my last name, which has to be the easiest last name ever, people still can't, for what ever reason, spell it. I have to tell them exactly how to spell by adding the word w/ it, IE "A as in apple", "C as in Cat", etc... They still get it wrong. They both (the customer and the rep) were wrong in this case, but he is crying over tickets which we think he got back in may. It's not worth it.

IF the Customer knows his name is hard to spell, he should then give out the spelling. No matter how good the GR rep was. yes, the GR rep should have asked for the spelling, but the Customer should have also just gave out the spelling. It would have been the correct thing to do for both parties.

All I have to say is that people need to get a darn life. I mean, come on. There is no reason once so ever to call the "New's 5 Action Team" to have them fight for you, esp if you are getting free tickets. Use common sense and think that they mispelt your name. It happens, trust me. I am in the same business. It's half his fault for not spelling it out in the 1st place. And this happen back in May?!?!? Why are you bringing it up now?! GET A LIFE WUSSY!!!!

The only one I watch is wkrc. I dont think they are too bad. But I cant really stand the other news.

I like Logo 4, 5, and 8 the best. I hope which ever logo they choose, they include color

I see. Well, you are the 1st person that I talked to that actually came out stating they worked there around the time of this event. Thanks for clearing all that up.

Do you know if that Teenager's name was acutally Johnny? (Since we now call the ghost "Tower Johnny").

I was a supervisor too, but are you saying that you actually were working at the park at the time it happen? (I mean, that same season).
