As someone who has worked with Dippin' Dots I can confirm they do require a special area since they are stored below 0 so they can not be kept in a regular freezer.

I don’t see them bringing back the tasting card for haunt due to the fact they didn’t have them last year. But I totally think it is possible that they bring them back for grand carnivale, since food sales appeared to be down just by looking at the food stands. Hopefully they bring it to food and wine next year especially after how the event appeared to be a flop. I don’t know much about Ohio liquor laws so I don’t know if it would be possible to do a card, but I know they can do the tasting flights of wine like they did this year. I do wonder why they did get rid of the tasting cards instead of just raising the price of them.

Food is looking good lots of variety, I am looking forward to hear what everyone thinks about it since I will not be able to make it for haunt this year because of school.

I could totally be wrong but someone from one of the buyouts posted a picture of the Son of Beast “cargo/package” and it appeared to have one of the lantern stickers on it. So it looks like they are using it as interactive lantern stop. Edit: Just saw the post about it in the Wolfpack building activity thread. My bad for the double post will double check next time.

Do you think they would put something in this plot before filling The Vortex plot as well. Would they put a Son of Beast remake ride in The Vortex plot? I could see them trying to incorporate that into Rivertown area, but it would be a stretch.

It would be cool to have a Son of Beast themed house. The way that the ride has such an aura and grip on enthusiasts and the general public alike I feel that if it is done right it would really be good and would drive attendance if marketing is done correctly. I also feel like if they used the old station and the son had "escaped his confines" and now haunts the station would be a very easy and cool concept.

They are straight up taunting us at this point this is straight up evil.

What I was saying is that they have that column already present in other places so it makes sense that they would continue to use that same design and not a different one.

Also changing every single column would be a huge expense that I hope they would not spend money on during a retheme. I would rather they spend the money on making the area more cohesive and better looking than changing how all the columns look.

I feel like it is also considered a family attraction, so would turning it into an adult haunt attraction be in the best interest for the park. I feel like also if they were to ever bring back phantom theater this would only hurt the ride because it is family ride. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So KD has had two new events this season and brought back all of the events from last year as far as I know. I wonder why we are seeing such a large investment in the park versus other parks of similar size or of a similar market.

That was one of my main questions is who covers the cost of the "fixes" to get the trains to work. When stuff like this has major issues opening in the first season is it the responsibility of the manufacturer or the park to cover the cost or do they both pay. The park has to pay with lost ticket sales and coming up with ways too appease guests when their star attraction is not working. The park usually I feel like in the GP gets the most public backlash. While the manufacturer gets some, but not all of the backlash from the enthusiasts. I imagine there has to be some sort of warranty, but for some manufacturers I feel like this could be such a heavy burden on them financially to cover the cost of all new trains and could cause them to go bankrupt.

Did anyone by any chance go to the last chefs plate. I was wondering what people thought about it because it seemed like the people on the facebook really like it, but I wanted to see what people on here thought about it. I am super excited to see the food for Tricks and Treats this year. I'm really hoping that the food is elevated further than last year.

I'm excited to see the ride identification sign for river racers. I think they have the chance to do something really cool based off The Racers ride logo or do something completely unique.

They were serving Mimosas earlier this season and I think one or two more specialty drinks, but I forget if they did have anything special besides the Mimosas. They also added fridge with beer to the left of the register and also added alcoholic frozen drink machines. But they did not have wine on the menu at any point this season I think.

If you look at inflation it is in fact cheaper now to buy a pass then it was in 2012.

I feel like the first meal would had looked and would have felt a lot bigger than it actually was if they used a boat. I get that they wanted it to look nice, but the way they plated it made you want a lot more. It’s kind of like how if you use a smaller plate you do end up eating less cause you feel more full.
