  1. @TOPGUN1993 and @Captain Nemo were huge fans of the show!
  2. He may in the future. He was at Six Flags Great America when this all went down....she was available. Either way, she's the leader of the team as far as PR/Spox goes....sometimes the leaders have to take charge.
  3. I don't know if there's actually a regional name. Elizabeth covers KI and Worlds of Fun for digital marketing. But her position ultimately falls under Grace from what I understand. Tony Clark is at Cedar Point and Six Flags Great America....which I believe is overseen by Grace. The map above doesn't represent the actual teams. The information out there is not extremely clear.
  4. As far as coverage goes, Tony Clark covers Cedar Point and Six Flags Great America...maybe more.
  5. Well when a member of the regional team is let go, the head honcho of the team has to step in as there likely was no one else able to do so. There really aren't any single park spokespersons anymore.
  6. Grace is valuable to the company....glad she is taking the reigns as the spokesperson.

  8. I can never stay connected to the KI WiFi....even if it's not crowded.
  9. Agreed on the KIC compared to PointBuzz aspect. Part of the problem I think PointBuzz has, is that the forum set up is just not well designed nor is conversation actually encouraged. There was a 2025 General Conversation thread created (similar to KIC's) and the one moderator closed it complaining that the information was too hard to find in a general thread vs targeted specific threads. Almost an over moderation on what users can and can't do in regards to sharing information. Whereas, KIC allows for information to be shared in the best way possible for all users. But I digress, lol. The world of information sharing is ever changing. There have been pages/sites that I've stopped following because of the over saturation of information....there have been some that I've followed because of the hyper specific information being shared. Either way, I think it's all personal preference. ---- Another note from Investor Day. I did see that they are going to be releasing a new app for all parks within Six Flags. (Did I see that hear? If so, I've slept since then lol).
  10. I took it as a jab of Cedar Flags.....he saw the writing on the wall and left.
  11. I like how last year, they listed the pricing was included on the guide and this year it's not. Either they aren't sure what prices are just yet or they prices are less attractive and they don't want anyone to know before ordering.
  12. Not going to lie, the chalkboard signs announcing rides being closed cracked me up. Great pics! Thanks for sharing.
  13. The difference is work wasn't really started for Camp Snoopy before permits were filed. For Adventure Port....the removal of Slingshot was on a separate permit. The person who would care about leaks is gone. They cannot do major construction without permit. They can be fined if so. Speculation is out there for drilling...but there's no actual confirmation. Cleaning out and removal of temporary walls would not need a permit. Most of the work for Hotel St. Michelle was inside at this point of the season. Haunt stuff can begin as early as April/May. Knotts is currently building haunt things.
  14. No permits have been filed for new construction. Honestly, I'd bet it's a new haunt. Cedar Flags probably won't spend the money to do anything major to that building.
  15. I just don't know how AI would be the ones installing said designs. These people are the ones who designed and installed.
  16. Have heard that Six Flags has let go the Planning and Design team. This is the crew that would do the theming work for Orion, Mystic Timbers, Rapterra, Georgia Gold Rusher, etc. Hope that's not the case, but Six Flags wouldn't shock me by this move sadly.
  17. Please no....tired of the investment into the kids area. We need more expansion/investment into the "adult" park. Best Kids Area Award could be earned as the area is now...you just need to have a team to share the reason why it's the best.
  18. Maybe....could be that it's not an official press release, but written via CPFoodBlog on the Sandusky Register platform.
  19. https://sanduskyregister.com/news/587651/new-cedar-point-park-manager-named/ Colleen, IMO, is extremely qualified and the right choice! Having witnessed her leadership style, her love for guests and associates, I am confident in her ability to lead. The night before opening day at CP this year, I ran into her on the Magnum Trail with other employees. She was on the phone, but she paused her conversation to say hello to me and ask if I was excited for the upcoming season. I've known Colleen for several years through a mutual friend and got to know her even better under Carrie Boldman's leadership. I never expect to be treated as anyone other than a typical guest...but she always makes me feel welcome in/around the park. Congratulations Colleen!
  20. KI has lacked in the merch department for years. They capitalize on the top like 4/5 coasters and forget they have the rest. They also over saturate with what merch they have in the various shops.....why should I go into KI Essentials when I can get the same merch at the Emporium? As shown by @chad_1138, the newest merch made it's way into4I Trading Company. But you can also find it at almost every location in the park. It seems if about 95% of the 4/5 coaster merch is repeat from pervious years...a little extra design maybe inserted here and there...but you can find it at Coaster Connection, KI Essentials, Emporium, etc. Don't even talk about the price....I don't like the merch/designs enough to drop $30+ on a shirt....$65+ on a hoodie. I know I've said it before but Cedar Point at least has diversified merch and a small amount of repeat throughout the shops. Their ride specific merch is top tier.....KI really needs to learn a thing or two from CP merch. The designs/merch there makes the cost worth it IMO.
  21. Please bring back Mr. Six!!!
  22. Speaking of video screens....there have been several that have popped up all over the park including at Cedar Point....not quite sure their actual purpose.
  23. Aren't girthy enough just made me lose my mind lol. But yes....the Island in Pigeon Forge has a mix of size with streams....could definitely benefit from a similar set up. Either way, there's not enough water moving as there was previously.
  24. TBH doesn't look like that much of a space has opened up. When visiting, I've thought that area was crowded. Maybe not.
