Great Pumpkin Coaster

Very few people outside enthusiast community know that Superman exists, let alone travel all the way to California to ride it. There's no "outshining" when it can't shine that far. They just happened to overhaul TTD at the right time and that's why it's still standing, in my opinion, Ka may have received the same treatment if TT2 hadn't fallen flat on its face in a puddle of mud. And probably most importantly, Falcon's Flight is opening soon so TT2 (if it ever reopens) will have been king for just about a couple months. It's called a business, they'll do what they can to make money, Cedar Point is the profit child and so they'll pump investment in it. Having more, possibly better coasters doesn't make a better all around park. Cedar Point's landscaping, atmosphere and theming for attractions is far inferior to KI. I get it's frustrating that The Vortex plot has been sitting untouched, but we just received the Camp Snoopy overhaul and a new coaster with it. Just because our small niche isn't the demographic Camp Snoopy is targeted at doesn't make that investment a failure and a waste of time. Excuse the rant, conspiracy theories just tend to annoy me.

I never got to ride KingDda Ka, but seeing it get destroyed hurts. It was such an important part of turning me into an enthusiast around 2017 when I was about 9. This tears me up a little, but nothing lasts forever and hopefully the "record breaking launch coaster" ends up being just as iconic in 20 years. RIP Ka.

Yeah I really hate the name. It is just "Storm Chaser" but it sounds less cool and powerful. Like how could they not think of anything better??

Well, the definition could be in what Six Flags Mexico is getting. If that ends up being a new super boomerang, I'll be pretty excited for 2026, if it ends up being a family boomerang... Eek. I'm not totally against another family-thrill coaster, but KI's lineup is full of them, and we just got SSBR. Which, imo, is more kiddie-family.

Personally 1. I 305 (I just can't bring myself to call it anything else) 2. Orion 3. Fury 4. Millie 5. Leviathan I got my first rides on I 305 in the pitch black of night this past summer. That was something else. I think I ended up getting 15 rides in over 1 day and a night. At most 4 rides in a row before I felt I would pass out.

Orion's drop feels more powerful. The whole ride feels more powerful imo. Completely agree, I think if they made the helix tighter it would be better than Orion

Whining and expressing a very slight annoyance are different things.

While I don't disagree, Orion is a giga, it's still annoying that it's not 300 feet tall.

@rexpostal I think the only way you could come to that conclusion about BeastFarmer's comment is that you yourself are viewing it with a "colorful" slant. Or maybe I'm just naive, probably the latter to be honest. Please don't burn me at the stake.

I prefer minis over the larger ones because there's no mid-course brake run and the elements are generally tighter and more forceful
