  1. Hay I got row 16 back to back tonight, still can't believe there's at much air back there!
  2. Today I noticed not all three trains make the loud roar, Brown is the loudest, Green is second, and Red doesn't really make one. From what I heard today.
  3. Rode DB six times today, which brings my total to 63.
  4. I've always been a fan of the hunted trails.
  5. Well Ok then, I will watch them all.
  6. I watched a few mins of the clips on the CET's site, I'm not going to watch anymore, don't want to ruin it, before it's shown in the spring.
  7. So there is a louder coaster than Mantis? I've never been BGT, and all the videos on youtube have crappy sound.
  8. According to NetGo's show SuperCoasters, Millennium Force at the bottom of the first drop pulls 4.5 G's. I have grayed out on Mantis, going though the loop and the Dive Loop. Now that I think about it, BLST after the lunch going up the spirl, very close.
  9. Yes nice trip report, I've only been to three SF parks, KK, St. Louis, Great American was my favorite. I remember St.Louis opening time was 10am, then rides opened at 10:30am, and the park closed before dark, this was in late July 2007. Haven't been to SFMM to ride Tatsu, but it does look like what a flying coaster should be. ThunderHead at Dollywood is like TS, with the station fly by. Great American opened at 10am, and closed at 10pm past dark for night rides. This was July 2006.
  10. The last time I was there in late May or early June didn't remember DB have a load screaming roar, but today I noticed it. For me hearing that load screaming roar of any B&M coaster gets me excited!!
  11. I rode Dback this morning three times during ERT, then two more before I left. So my total is up to 57, my last visit to the park was back in June, and today I noticed the trains making a loud screaming roar, similar to Mantis. Which I really like!!
  12. I had a dream last night, I took a piece of wood from SOB. But the wood looked like balsa wood.
  13. The Raven, can't think of any steel.
  14. Still can't believe this thread has gone 40 pages.
  15. 1. Diamondback 2. Beast 3. Racer Red 4. Invertigo
  16. Hands down Splashin Safari, I can not compare the two. SS has a lot newer slides.
  17. I don't think any thing can save Vortex, except new track.
  18. I have been on 84 coasters.
  19. Don't know if this has been posted yet, you can read ride log repairs, and the DOA check list. http://nky.cincinnati.com/article/AB/20090...nearly+complete
  20. You would still rebuild a better coaster in SOB's spot, that towers over the skyline. Just as long as its by someone who knows what there doing.
  21. Yeah, the park no longer allows them to do that... but don't get me started on that rant again! I remember ether 2005 or 2006 was the last year they stopped doing that.
  22. I've noticed that the hotel shuttle(converted school bus painted to KingsIslands resorts colors) drops people off at the bus stop next the KingsIsland drive. I can remember the shuttle in past years driving all the way up the main gate area, to left off people, then wait for others coming out of the park. Any my last visit to the park back in May or June, while leaving the pavement was really rough and beat up. I still wounder were does this ten dollars, and 15 dollars go to? it sure is heck not going to the parking lot.
  23. I couldn't agree more, and why did RCCA go out of business? RCCA was an un experienced builder, and they might have been the lowest bidder to.
  24. I believe this is the 28th thread about SOB.
  25. What I think makes a good park is mixture of ride's, atmosphere, and good food that doesn't break the bank. Busch Gardens Williamsburg is my favorite park, with Holiday World a close second. Both of them are not out to diamante in ride and coasters, they have a good mixture of everything.
