X- Flight name?
Hmm...they do like to theme their rides after Paramount films, so I'm keeping that in mind while thinking of a name they could use. "War of the Worlds" was a [extremely successful] Paramount film and would make sense near FoF. Just a thought.

sob or beast
SOB is higher and faster, but The Beast is out in the woods...isolated from the rest of the park. Riding it at night is majorly creepy, especially on the second lift! SOB has a very predictable layout; it's a good coaster, but no woodies (in my opinion) compare to The Beast. It's almost four minutes long; that's another reason people like it better than SOB, too, I'll wager.

What happened to the FOF?
You don't see it because you happen to prefer Millennium Force, which is perfectly acceptable. Things like Millennium Force...well, you wait in a boring line for up to several hours and then ride a ride just because it's fast and high...that's all right. That's how thrill rides were designed. Other types of people don't like waiting in a typical queuing area and riding a ride that's just high and fast. Sure, they want it to be all of that, but they want an EXPERIENCE as well. Bigger and faster things come along and the rides that USED to be the biggest and fastest get forgotten along the way. What you remember better are the experiences you have on certain rides. You'll think about Millennium Force in twenty years and you'll remember, "Oh, I waited in line for like, two hours, but I don't remember the ride that well." Whereas other rides have certain memorable qualities...theming. FoF has the UFO you walk into; that's something you're going to remember and think, "Wow, that was pretty cool." Same with the helicopter in IJ:ST. It's perfectly fine that those aren't the type of rides you enjoy, but surely you can see why others like them?

Smoking Ban?
I know that a lot of people disagree with this, but just as we have the right to clean air, smokers have a right to smoke. Cigarettes are legal... If a smoker actually thought about it, they're being discriminated against as well. I always thought they were being 'insensitive' by smoking around me. Now I think that telling them they can't smoke is just as insensitive because it's legal and they're uh addicted.

MTV2 Nesquick Gameriot
NO! Please tell me that the park is not going to be really crowded Wednesday because of this! I wanted to ride IJ:ST! Is it going to draw a LOT of people to the park that wouldn't normally be there?

SOB really that bad?
Son of Beast isn't rough. The Beast is ten times worse in my opinion; I pulled muscles in my neck and shoulder when I rode it in 2002. I still ride it, but I'm very wary when going into the double helix finale. I've ridden about everywhere on Son of Beast, and it's never really bothered me. I heard from a friend who's 6'4" that it's a lot rougher for taller people; I'm 5'6", and it doesn't bother me at all, so who knows?

Kingda Ka
I think Top Gun is a good ride, though a little shorter than I would like. Whenever I've been at the park, there's not been more than a two / three minute wait for the ride, so I've ridden it eight plus times every trip...it does annoy me that I have to walk all the way up that exit path then back down the entrance. Last time, my cousin and I kept running back to it though - we were trying to ride it ten times in an hour...we only got 6, I think. But the idea you had to rebuild Top Gun sounds like a good one. More themed; a little more than just a big hill and a launch. THAT'S what coaster enthusiasts need!

Kingda Ka
I saw some pics and reviews on Kingda Ka and I will probably head up there to ride it...it does just look like a taller TTD with a bunny hop, though. Why don't they make a big coaster like TTD and Kingda Ka that actually does something more...I don't know, a couple of loops to slow it down instead of a bunny hill, some nice theming, a track beyond the huge first hill...sure it would cost money, but it would draw loads of people to the park. Especially coaster enthusiasts looking for something more. That kind of thing looks FUN, but it's just not enough in my opinion...

Italian Job...tickets?
Oh, I see now. That definitely cleared that up! Thanks!

Italian Job...tickets?
I have noticed some mention of tickets in reference to IJ:ST...I am a bit confused by this. I've not been to the park yet; I'm going next week. I planned on riding IJ:ST, though. What is this talk of tickets? Do you have to buy tickets to ride it, or what? Thanks

Longest wait...
I waited around an hour and a half to ride TR:TR when it first opened. I didn't even know what in the world it was or what it did, but I rode it. Great ride. I think it was worth the wait.

Top 10
I've only been to one other Paramount park, and it really stunk. It wasn't near as great as PKI. Then again, what could be as great as PKI?

Tower Johnny?
Well, everywhere has its stories about people who've died there and still haunt the place. A lot of the time it's just stuff that people make up, but I think that Tower Johnny might actually still be at the Park...

PKI Speils
Last year, I rode the Flight of Fear a couple of times. There was this girl running it, and she didn't really say much... She gave a thumbs up to the front seat, a thumbs up to the back seat, turned her thumb sideways and gave thumbs up to everyone in the train that way --------------------------> Then turned her thumb the other way and gave everyone thumbs up the other way: <------------------------ And the only word she uttered was. "Clear", in this almost robot-like voice. While waiting in line, it was kind of amusing. We kept going "Clear...Clear" and mimicking her because, you know it's a long wait and there's nothing else to do when you're up that far. The video's behind you, all you have is a pretty long wait ahead of you.
