I think whatever they do with that TRTR building, they should send me some of TRTR's theming. I'd pay a pretty penny to get my hands on any bit of it. Or the restraint off the seats sitting in FOF's building.... or a bolt or something off those seats...

Time for me to cancel my pass if this happens!! What a HORRIBLE replacement. Why in the hell does Cedar Fair keep treating Cedar Point like its god and they always get incredible additions, (Including the tilt that they STOLE from SFNM) but every other park gets held back and gets crap? TTD nearly kills someone and it gets revamped but Ka got demo-ed? This merger has been a disaster and it always will be. All they're doing is they're doing anything they can to prop up Cedar Point. If they put something so stupid in the former home of the best dark ride ever created, I'm revoking my pass and never going back. Same goes with The Vortex plot. That Vortex plot needs something incredible. I HATE you Cedar Fair.

I've never done Coasterstock yet......... I'd love to one day though...... Just so I can take a look at a certain set of seats. LOL. (maybe, snag a bolt off them, just kidding, I WISH)

I didn't mean to come off as rude, i hope I didn't make ya mad! Im just trying to find the one ride that can outdo 2008 Crypt as the most intense ride I've ever rode. And so far, all these years later, nothing has done it. 08 Crypt was intense, but it was actually scary.

The general public aka the vast majority of people are scared of it due to its bad reputation of causing blackouts. Lol. And how the heck is it a snoozefest? Its widely regarded as the most intense coaster on the planet. I only wanna get it because I want to see if it can outdo 2008 Crypt in intensity.

If it doesnt open at all i dont think enthusiasts will be happy..... it better open!! Lol.

Oh well. I want some of that theming. I'm not kidding, I'll buy it. TR:TR is a special subject for me and my #1 missed credit. At least I got it in 2008 and 2010, to which that 2008 cycle on Crypt actually horrified me. And not in a good way.

Time to revoke my pass! I swear if a madhouse or something lame gets put in that building that housed the best dark ride of all time, I'm never going back.

Just a few photos from my visit today! Discovery meadow looks beautiful... but Storm Chasers (now wind chaser) trains are hideous! Lol. Overall though, im happy the park is getting some love finally from Herschend.

Go ride it 22 times in a row then tell me how bad it was. LOL.

A cutout or a mini model of TR:TR. I'd buy it................. (Even if it was only the top spin itself)

That 1st turn on Pantherian is nothing but sustained positives. And exactly what im looking to feel when riding it. I want to see if it can outdo 2008 Crypt as the most intense ride Ive been on. Albeit, even though if Pantherian does end up being more intense (which i doubt it will), it wont actually scare me like Crypt did.

What will happen if I don't stay hydrated? I'm probably going to skip breakfast and lunch on the day I go and I'll make sure its a hot day. I want to black out. A full-on blackout.

The walls were very worn when I was in there in October, but there is an access ladder in the building that I believe was used to access the rack that held up the icicles from TR:TR, seen here: This is the lava pit from TRTR. I have a whopping 2,982 photos from inside the building from when I went last October. That access ladder can be seen here located next to ventilation pipes which were used (if im correct) to ventilate the building of the mist from TRTRs ride cycle.

If the attraction does end up in the building.................. I'm going to call the park and ask about purchasing some of TR:TR's theming (IF it is possible like they did with Vortex, Racer, and SOB) I'd buy it in a heartbeat................

Top Thrill 2 is open. I was right. They SPECIFICALLY made sure TT2 would run, but Ka got the axe just so Cedar Point can have the tallest and fastest coaster in North America..................... Cedar Fair stole Sirens Curse from SFNM and gave it to Cedar Point when it wouldve been better somewhere else...... And they got their wild mouse 2 years ago too......... This marks 3 years IN A ROW that Cedar Point has gotten investments, but KI gets held back and we haven't gotten anything at all.................................. Other parks are getting held back............. They even axed the OTHER 400 foot coaster at Magic Mountain........ just so Cedar Point can have the only one...................... Cedar Point is the golden child and it will be at ALL costs.

That door is visible on The Beasts exit, the exit garage. I know exactly what your talking about. When facing it its on the left, it was originally a garage door to get to the restricted area/maintenance area and access the catwalks on the ceiling of the building if I'm right...... This is going to be a complete dissapointment compared to the original ride... also, the other huge problem? Nearly ALL of that theming in there is copyrighted...... so most of it cant be used......

I also have a purple mattress. Bought mine a year and a half ago, the purple original and I absolutely love it! As you say, it works, so they're going to keep their entertainment the same way they've always drew in crowds.

They better send me that left over TRTR theming....... i'd buy it. (Im not kidding, id buy a slice off that door if i could)

I'll stay hydrated, I just want the thing to be as ultra-intense as possible. I'll probably try to lap it 15-20 times to increase my chances of a full blackout. It can't be as bad as 08' Crypt.

Around July. I'm not going until I'm 100% certain Pantherian is open.
