They are good rides for what they are. I would rather have a raptor with 3 trains and 12 passenger trains than a skyrocket 2 with a sliding station. The sliding station may get you to 700 PPH. Make that a hot racer with lap bars only

Cedar Point was awesome when Mr. Kinzel was around. The last few years has not been as fun mainly from operations, coincides with the new GM being promoted from Dorney....

You speak alot about capacity in past posts. Capacity is poor on these rides.

Looks like a fun ride that isn't overly intense for the gp. Probably what the park wanted. The lapbars will make the experience amazing.

Mamba costs 10 million in 1996. This hyper is either BS or would have been 3000' or so.

I just don't see how it can get enough potential energy and overcome friction around those turns to even break 70mph IMO.

I have a hard time believing The Beast would break 80mph without trims.

Jason McClure is in way over his head. The operations have been going downhill ever since he got promoted from that powerhouse Dorney Park(sarcasm). Throw in a pandemic and it really shows up.

Only people that are effected with another run of the product are people like your buddy that resales them. The people that have mostly bought them are not going to sell them.

@SonofBaconator Hadgrids open when it was not ready to please the potterites. After a couple months its only down for weather and the occasional sensor problems. Its a modern marvel to be able to run 10 trains and it has a capacity of probably 1500pph. If people were quicker to get on the trains and not have the occasional walk of shame I am sure they could run 12 trains.

@SonofBaconator I see that you watched el toro ryan's video(great stuff). Watching that video should give you an even greater appreciation for Intamin pushing the envelope to entertain us.

There is more stress on the track in quick transitions & higher g force elements. Racer has none of that, so I am confused why anyone would through the expense of 4 new trains.

I am sure Stakotra has it figured out.

Someone needs to buy it and rename it Action Park. Modern water coasters and slides are a lot more economical investments. That would be the only way to get people from Kings Island.

Millennium flyer trains are made for quicker transitions, why put them on a traditional old school out and back? Before you say Mystic Timbers is a out and back, it has quick transitions throughout.
