Who says? The footers could have easily been poured over the summer, and with enough money, anything can happen, including building coasters in record time.

Who said it is too spaced out to be a coaster? We could be getting a Giga, and a hill that size, would require a enormous amount of land. why don't you look at aerial views of the park. http://terraserver.homeadvisor.msn.com/ima...=10895&z=16&w=2 If you look between where The Beast is, and where SOB is, a coaster, made in a stright line between the two, being only slighty longer than The Racer, would easily stretch from SOB to The Beast. They could make a Giga be that big, or maybe, we are gonna top the 400 ft mark. Who knows, but I'd bet whatever it is, its not gonna be just a skyride.

Apparently for some, dumb is the bset word in their vocabulary. If you think it is terribly funny to destroy stuff, watch the chance of someone being hurt or injured, you are arrogant, ignorant, and a bedlamite.

I don't think PKi has enough cojones to put in a stone that says "JACKASS" 2002 across it. It would be funny, if they did though.

Anyone who thinks that derailing or trying to derail one of the cars is good entertainment, is stupid. The only thing you are succesfully doing is destroying the rides at PKI and forcing the park to spend more money on ride upkeep, than to be able to divert that money to new rides. If this is what you try to do to the car ride, It makes me wonder what other rides in the park you have intentionally tried to destroy? You know who you are, knock it off, and quit destroying the amusement industry!

Its dirty as hell, looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages, and everything in it is old and beat. If they actually took care of it, and kept it looking nice like when it was new, then I might like it too; But in its current state, it is a slum, and should be torn down.

One thing they better not put there is some darn museum. The paramount story is a museum of types, but its more like the PKI Ghetto, or the PKI rumpke dump. Its a craphole, and they either need to clean it up and take care of it, or tear the dang thing down, and put something nice there.

The skeleton has always been there, but I did not notice that the stuff was actually moving for a change.

This year, they did do work on AE, and you could tell it at night. They replaced a bunch of the lights on the track, so it looks really good at night. They haven't had the fog working for years, and probably won't be fixed. The spears and stuff that are stuck in the ceiling and walls, used to move up adn down, or in and out, but no longer do that. One can only hope that with some of the supposed Aesthetic improvements planned for next summer, some of the AE stuff is on that list.

What about the jets? We have been getting hit in the face all summer by them. I don't think the ride has changed at all. The last time I rode it, less than 1 month ago, it was still the same as the beginning of the season.

I apologize for my comments. But from my point of view anything that can result in an injury isn't particularly funny.

This just in, S&S Power of Utah, has purchased the bankrupt Arrow Dynamics, as well as settle a lawsuit filed by Six Flags against Arrow Dynamics. http://www.amusementtoday.com has the story in the extra section. S&S says, that they plan on keeping Arrow a separte company for the forseeable future, and to share the technology of S&S as well as Arrow Dynamics so that both companies can benefit form one another. Looks like our chances of getting a new train for Top Gun, have just gotten 100% better. I sure hope PKI fixes it, or they could change the trains over to Arrow's Bodiless Suspened Trains which would be kewl too.

Nope, Vortex is in the middle of the park on the North Carolina Side of the park, and I think it falls short of the state line by like 10 or 15 feet, or something stupid like that. Goldrusher though is built on the state line as well. My mistake. I wouldn't expect another gate at WaterWorks. The things that works at Carowinds, is that there is an entrance on the North Side and one on the South side, and the way it works out, an entrance in each state. It would be kewl if PKI ever gets big enough to add a back entrance and some parking on the other side of the park. Don't know if that will ever happen though. Their front turnstyles are always packed when they open in the morning. *EDITED by StXBomber for several typos*

I don't think that is right. The ztadium is still in the same place it has always been. Its just has a stage on top of it now. They do some kind of musical revue crap on it in the summer.

The monorail was bought by Jungle Jim, for his grocery store in Fairfield, where he is installing it so others can use it to get around his store. The animal attraction wasn't all out popular and that is why it was removed. The Dolphin thing was really kewl, and I also remember a point in time when they had sea lions as well. I think they did away with that due to cost of all of it, including the tanks and stuff. I'd bet the tanks are probably still there under the stage, so if they wanted to change things back, they could, but due to cost, I'd bet they never will.

If there wasn't speculation about the park, then these boards would cease to exist. Also, before you go around calling everyone KIDS, why don't check on people's ages. I'm pretty sure, I'm older than you KIDS that work at the park.

One can only hope that this is a spur of the moment thing. I really liked seeing Yogi Bear and George Jetson running aorund. If you ask kids now who is yogi bear and who is george jetson, they look at you like you have four heads and say?What? I thouhgt that it was nice being able to see characters, that aren't really found on regular TV anymore.

the last time I checked, there weren't exactly "shrubs" growing around The Beast. To the rest of the normal population, we refer to those as "Trees." And why would you remove trees from around a ride, that is set in a heavily wooded area, unless you had plans for it? You just don't tear down big old trees for nothing, other than to clean up a bit!

You know what, not all of us think we are gods because we work at Kings Island, and might know a minor thing or two about the park. Just because you do not think its important, does not mean that others don't think it is simportant. There have been many clearings popping up in the park over the past season or two. There has to be some kind of plan in the works, with all this land being cleared. And myabe, some of us are right!

I haven;t gotten any bruises on my long legs, since they fixed the horribly rough parts of the track. Before that, it used to kill me and leave me limping to ride that coaster.

We got more wood than any other park on the face of the earth. People travel from all over, to come and ride our wood. There isn't anything that is n't classic about any of wood coasters, especially when they are record breakers in some way or another. I think any wood coaster is a classic, considering that is they way most early coasters were built.
