  1. This lad must be well happy now.
  2. Welcome to hell, newcomer. The problem I see with theming things to intellectual property is that it ages like milk. There are timeless exceptions to this, but it often creates something with diminishing returns after a few years. Paramount did it a lot, and you can see the issue. How many people were thinking about the Italian Job or Face/Off in the 2010s?
  3. I wouldn't even mind another GCI to be honest.
  4. That's a title I think suits the park well with the legacy left by Racer.
  5. I know it may seem pretty out there, but Diamondback could use a tunnel or two to give it an edge over Orion.
  6. I didn't like the idea of removing Vortex, but nothing lasts forever.
  7. Given that it's 30+ feet up I was wondering if they could exit with a sharp drop to the left.
  8. What sort of chance is there that this notorious building is reused for another roller coaster? Given the track layout of Banshee, it seems to me that the only way this relic could see use again would be after The Bat has given its last ride. It just seems bizarre to me that they've left it sitting there as an eerie reminder this long without the intention of some sort of reallocation, not to mention that there's still plenty of Lion Country Safari land available close by. I'm curious what sort of changes would have to be made to give the structure new life. We all know too well the prospect of the infamous coaster's resurrection. I'm just wondering if the old station is even capable of housing a 'reboot' or original ride at this point. I know not what sort of natural decay has occurred to the site over the past decade.
  9. I can't believe 1972 was actually 50 years ago. That being said...
  10. Ain't gonna happen, chief.
  11. My God, it's beautiful.
  12. Adventure Express will outlive us both.
  13. That's precisely what came to my mind. As sad as it is, a coaster as unique and extreme as this was never going to last indefinitely. This much negative press and downtime make it even more of a candidate to hit the chopping block. At least Gemini seems relatively safe for now.
  14. I remember going to the park when I was six back in 2001. I'll never forget The Beastie's queue line.
  15. Make sure that your child has not in fact managed to lose one or more limbs while standing in the queue line.
  16. My assumption is the licensing agreement expired.
  17. I often wonder who enjoys having soggy undies in Action Zone.
  18. Remember to try the blue ice cream.
  19. You could easily theme a wheel to fit, I think.
  20. And of course, anybody still wanting to visit parts of the website that were backed up, you can still do so at https://web.archive.org/web/20210613030337/http://kiextreme.com/ Expect dial-up internet speed for pictures though.
  21. Was never really a fan of that show myself, especially when it revolves around the death of an actual person. Seems a tad disrespectful to me.
  22. And if I'm not mistaken, moonshine's peak was during prohibition, which is obviously long gone at this point. Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure moonshine is still quite prolific in old school rural/country theming. Things may pass their prime, but they seldomly go away.
