Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks
I'll be at KI next weekend. I spent all last weekend at Holiday World. Very few masks. No real distancing. Amazing I'm still here to talk about it. Can't wait to get on Orion!

Hours for Cedar Point are 11-8 every day. Their app changed over this morning like KI did last week. Reservations probably start Monday or Tuesday next week.

It may not be bad. Opening day at Six Flags over Georgia was the quickest I've gotten into that park in years.

Kings Island 2020 HOURS!
Pretty sure that's how WOF handled it. After the first week or two, you could reserve more than a single day. I also doubt they will be at capacity most (if any) days. You'll probably be able to grab a slot on the way to the park most days after this passholder week.

Do you think they are going sanitize every trip? I'm guessing it'll be more like the Six Flags where they wipe down the entire train every 30 or 60 minutes.

Skip a row between groups.

Disappointing they are doing the lazy, every other row method.

New no smoking policy inside the park?
They have an area. It's outside the front gate. If people are smoking in line, call security. I like that CF is doing this move. No one needs to smoke in the park.

Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks
I've now been to a mask park (SFoG) and a non-mask park (Holiday World). I'll do either to ride coasters and have a good day. But, HW was a lot more comfortable. It was like visiting a normal amusement park.

SFoG had mobile ordering up and running this week. You just picked a 15 minute time slot, submit your order, and then swing by during the time frame. Worked just fine. Would be nice to see this at CF parks. All the restaurants had a dining plan slider if you only wanted to see those options.

Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks
I was at SFoG today. First half of the day it felt like I was the only one there. Zen rides on a few coasters. Lines started becoming 10-20 minutes second half of the day. Workers all had masks on. Guests were doing a pretty good job. Security was reminding folks masks need to be worn. Even saw the park president reminding folks of masks while he was walking around. Was everyone perfect? Not by a long shot. Lots of noses, pulled down masks, etc. But I think overall folks were doing pretty good, kids included. You'll never see everyone in compliance all the time, but it was far better than Lowes and Walmart around here. Today was also mid 70s. So, a very pleasant day. I'm curious what I'll see in a month when I'm back down there. They did every other row on the coasters with a train wipe down every hour or so. It would be a ~5 minute delay and they would wipe down all seats, even the ones not being used.
