Try Korea. Some of their parks never shut down. Forgot an important word above.

Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks
That's really strange. Walmart I visit here in East TN is also right next to a "Bridgewater" road. No one way isles here. More and more people with masks each day I visit. Plenty of customers don't seem to care, plenty do. They are counting people entering and leaving, but I haven't seen a line form at any point. I end up at Walmart every day or two picking up groceries for me or family/neighbors. They close the non-grocery doors an hour earlier than the other doors but no sections are closed. Lowes continues to be busy every time I visit. We've been redoing our kitchen and staining our deck. Like normal, I keep needing something else and run back down there. Best Buy next door is pickup only.

"We know that all of our coaster fans come to HoliWood Nights for insane night rides with The Voyage without trim brakes, and we’re going to make sure that happens. This likely means rescheduling the event, but we’re waiting to finalize our opening date and waiting to find out when our Voyage trains will arrive to be certain."

Kings Island suspending payment plans
Exactly. I just don't foresee them breaking up Platinum passes that way. They may do away with them in 2022, but I just don't see them splitting them up now. They just aren't announcing it for some reason.

Kings Island suspending payment plans
I'm not in the payment plan but can they do this? Are they allowed to make changes to agreement? I'm assuming yes since they have.

They are just pausing the payments. They will return and extend however long they were paused. You are still going to pay the same price. You will not owe a bunch when it's unpaused to get in the park...just your next payment.

Just give it some time on pass extensions through 2021. It's coming. KI hasn't officially missed any operating days. They aren't going to send it before the season even starts.

All CF parks will extend through 2021. Otherwise, it's a logistical nightmare as outlined above. It also entices people to start buying passes again immediately once parks open. You'll get (potentially) a year and a half for the price of 1. In reality, it's really only a couple months they are getting free since late August and beyond sales include the next season already.

I think it's great all our passes are extended a year. I hope this isn't a sign that 2020 is really in jeopardy as a whole now. I'm still optimistic they get things running mid/late summer.

The country will start getting back to work next week. Just a matter of time until bigger events start again. I'm still a firm believer we'll be in parks in May. Some areas will be more restrictive than others, but we'll start trying to return to normal life and wash our hands a bit more soon.- Kings Island and Cedar Point opening Mid-May

Pretty sure I saw on a Cedar Point winter chill out video they had the panel and a brake from Vortex setup in one of the shops. The guy on the video kept setting it off. Staff said it was only running about 20% power and wouldn't be enough to stop a train at that moment. I thought it was cool they set it up and let people play with it.- Orion Construction Photos
