Would be great if Oktoberfest was brought back for the Nostalgia of the park. But as for 2019 and onward I don't see any chance of Oktoberfest being brought back.

Any chance the park gets something besides a B&M giga for 2020? Like two additions in the same year?

They could also put a black light put put golf course in there. With a Fortnight theme of course.

Are you less of a Kings Island fan/supporter if you leave the park to eat food somewhere else just to come back into the park afterwards?

What is the Jukebox Diner? Also can anyone explain what got torn down to make room for the tiques?

Right. That's why I said Intamin like. So that would be Mack for a Maverick like ride. And as for wooden coasters, it doesn't seem like any manufacturer has been making good ones lately.

Not to ruffle feathers here, but it seems like after the giga what KI will be lacking is Intamin like coasters. A ride like Maverick. Or a woodie like El Toro, but I think Mystic Timbers being built almost rules that out. Unless KI wants to go toe to toe with Holiday World on the best wooden roller coaster collection.

These photos make me realize how much the park has been changing. Would love to eventually see a new rendition. It's a perfect way to catalog KIs place in time.

@SonofBaconator I wasn't suggesting going as far as the name of a ride. I didn't have KI on SC, but cool to hear they were dropping Beast Mode on there. Beast Mode t-shirts would have been too legit.

Maverick has a 90 degree drop and other thrilling elements, like a shed that actually does something. (It launches you) MT first drop is opposite, it's a gradual slope, it even turns to make the hill even longer and slower. MTs shed doesn't launch you.

Flying coasters are just a gimmick and the only one that was done well is the one at Sea World where you're right over the water imo. Why have blood rush to your head if it's not the result of g-forces?

I vote the same. These are the only coasters that I thought were going to prevail from the beginning anyways. Vortex vs Magnum shall be a good one.

They paid how much for that coaster? Is it hand crafted from a rich mahogany? If they paid that much, I want to know what's really going on in that shed after hours.

I agree about MT. Its more of a coaster for kids but also one that parents wont necessarily feel silly riding it with their kids.

@silver2005 & @King Ding Dong The question was what should be KIs next major coaster. Little mice coasters or "family" coasters do not fit the bill in this case. By the way, KIs last coaster was a tweener coaster anyways and the park doesn't have to be full of them because like Planet Snoopy, it's only a matter of time before the little kiddies grow up and want to ride coasters that are the real deal anyways.

Why be just another park with a 4D coaster? It's been done! KI needs to push the envelope, don't stop at just 4D, take it another dimension further... I'm talking 5D!!

KI will tell you it already has a spinning coaster. It's called Surf Dog. Also BLSC is popular with families, so they aren't just going to rip it out because some enthusiast doesn't like where it's at.
