A rollercoaster seat train is almost certainly not required to be reported. If things that insignificant that don’t even relate to the physical property of the park that list would have been way longer. If you look at the document you see companies that developed physical property (Roofing companies, tile companies ect). Of course just because B&M on the list doesn’t guarantee a giga but it wouldn’t really make much sense for them to be on there for a seat train. We’d so way more manufacturers on that list if that’s why they’re there.

I mean it probably would but I don’t think it’d have a significant effect on it, Cedar Fair would see it more as another source of revenue rather then its effect on attendance.

How likely do you guys think it is that KI will get a giga in 2020? I’d say there’s around a 70% chance considering the paper work, the removal of Firehawk & Kings Islands consistent growth.

I agree, there’s no reason CedarFair would scrap several large projects just because they had a rough start last year.

Hotels have been big revenue drivers for CedarFair recently so I’d say the possibility for a Hotel has increased.

Ground up theme parks are expensive to build and are probably a riskier investment compared to an already developed park that has known income & attendance figures.

In hindsight the joke is poor taste, I was joking more or less about how terrible of an attraction the ride.

The 2nd sentence was a joke, but I wasn’t aware of that many manufacturers still making log flumes.

Does anyone really make log flumes anymore? Maybe they could get some sort of Intamin water ride with a chain lift and a terrible anti-rollback system?

A tunnel would be fantastic! If they do add a tunnel though I’d hope it’s not the crappy leviathan tunnels. Beast concrete styled tunnels would be what I’d personally prefer.

Personally I’d be ok paying more for a giga rollercoaster but I’m sure there a lot more factors playing into wether or not a price increase will be justified. Fast Lane plus prices would probably increase if they added a giga Though considering how popular the ride would be it’s first year or so.

On one hand KI got sold to Cedar Fair in the 00s which is probably one of the best things to happen to the park but with all the renovations & additions recently I’m going to have to go with 10s. Maybe we might get lucky and end this decade with a giga announcement

I mean no park needs a giga, but a giga coaster would do wonders for Kings Island coaster line up. Id much rather have Kings Island's next rollercoaster be a giga rather then some other model.

Personally I think coastal redwoods would suit the area around the tower well.

That’d be a great goal to have the park set! I’m not sure how expensive it is to accomplish a goal like that but even if they added just a few trees it could greatly improve the atmosphere of some areas of the park.

I don’t know if the cost to ship it is justified but I do believe people speculate it would be wicked twister is due to all the rumors suggesting Cedar Point is planning on doing something major around the board walk area.

In regards to the expansion of royalty programs what do you guys think it could be? In addition to that what parks do you think will test it out? I’d assume Kings Island would have a good chance of being one of the test parks.

I’m not aware if this has been previously mentioned or not but in the blog they did state we’ll hopefully be getting pictures in March
