According to RCDB it looks like The Bat still uses an Arrow train

Sad to see Vortex’s removal has already begun, still doesn’t feel real that it’s getting removed.

When I first saw the triangle logo during its announcement I definitely thought it was somewhat reminiscent of Vortex’s logo. I think the triangle logo looks much much better then the rectangle logo.

I love that shade of teal.

I just want Oktoberfest to get Der Spinnen Keggers & have hanks be removed and have the original facade back.

The software update could have been on something other then the cameras them selfs, maybe it was a website software upgrade for the camera page, who knows.

It makes zero sense that the park would intentionally take down the cameras so they could make a time lapse for views. Also, how does them releasing a timelapse make it worse from a PR perspective? Because if I recall one of the main reasons people were upset is due to the fact there wouldn’t be a timelapse.

I hope it stays for quite a while longer. I don’t see Kings Island removing another coaster anytime soon (although I also said the same after Firehawk was removed). I think The Bat will be here at least till Vortex is replaced. If Action Zone ever gets a much needed retheme and overhaul I think that could help with The Bats ridership.

What I meant was that an ideal family coaster would be 42’ inches however most family coasters are 48 inches. I find a multilaunch, multi inversion rollercoaster with the 52’ inch height requirement to definitely not be considered family. Sure it may not be the most intense rollercoaster out there but it’s certainly high thrill.

Cedar Fair as of late has been theming their queues quite a bit (Copperhead strike, Yukon striker & Mystic), I doubt Orion would be an exception.

I’m guessing there’s about a 20-30 ft elevation difference (With Diamondback sitting on the higher land).

It simply makes almost no sense to add a rollercoaster this upcoming year. They’re already going to have a lot of growth next year with the success of the Gold pass. Adding a rollercoaster wouldn’t do that much in increasing the attendance more. Also it’d make much more sense for them to have already announced it & attempt to advertise it with Orion to boast platinum pass sales.

Maybe the designer & creator of the floats (Kern studios) wasn’t able to make another set of Winterfest parade floats this year? I’m guessing we’ll see the parade come to Kings Island next Winterfest.

Could the reason Woodstock express doesn’t run is due to PTC not wanting their trains to run in the cold? I genuinely have no idea but I could potentially seeing that maybe being why.
