Action Zone needs the most work in my opinion, Oktoberfest still has some of its charm. If they added 2 new flats to Oktoberfest that area would be fine. Action Zone on the other hand needs a lot of work to make it feel like more then just concrete and rides.

I have to feel bad for people who call KD their home park. Yes the park has gotten better since the paramount days but it must be hard from being the park That got a bunch of prototype launch coasters to being the park that’s removed 4 coasters in a little over 10 years.

It’d still be a good idea to join ACE(assuming you’re not in a coaster club already and want to attend future events), as others have mentioned they have worked with Kings Island for 40+ years.

Possibly, but I don’t see Cedar Fair spending a lot of money on a prototype at one of their major parks. I’d personally prefer the great safe investments we’ve been getting.

I think the Skyline on international street being replaced with something like this would be nice.

Wonder if it had anything to do with the noise complaints, probably not but always a possibility.

Cedar Fair as of late has done fantastic theming, I wish Weber group (Who themed TRTR & Copperhead strike) would theme Orion but I’m not holding my breath for them being involved sadly.

I hope we’ll be able to see some of the theming take place, I assume Daniel woodlands will be doing most of the theming, wonder if holovis will be involved in this project also.

I’d rather our new ride not be a clone, we already have 7 cloned / very similar rides at the park… (The Bat, Invertigo, BLSC, Racer, FoF, Woodstock express, Flying Ace Aerial Chase)

Ok but if Kings Island was going to renovate Vortex they’d almost certainly just bring in Morgan or a similar company to reprofile portions of the ride, that’s pretty much the only way Vortex would have been saved. If that was their intention they probably wouldn’t make everyone upset by saying it was closing forever when in reality they were just going to do maintenance on it. Especially for a ride as iconic and beloved as Vortex. If they were indeed RMCing Vortex then maybe they’d not announce it but the fact to the matter is they aren’t going to Rmc it.
