Python "Complaint"
Does anybody know who this is? I've been looking for him but I can't find any record of him anywhere.

Does Kings Island need a giga?
Need? Nope. Want? Absolutely! A giga could be a perfect fit for KI, especially in Firehawk's old spot!

New Dorms Coming to Kings Island
https://www.visitkingsisland.com/blog/2019/february/‘one-team-village’-will-offer-affordable-housing-option-for-prospective-kings-island-associates\ Hopefully this won't be too much of an eyesore. Based on the artwork, it appears to be near the Eiffel Tower.

The Giga Speculation Thread
What if the new coaster isn't a giga? I could see a new flat ride package, maybe a different B&M model, but the recent giga rumors from the past few years have been wrong. I'm not trying to be contrary, just reminding people to keep an open mind. Wow, this is such a huge giga! I can't wait to see this record breaker when I go to KI next spring!

Volcano: The Blast Coaster to be removed!
Well, I guess I'm going to have to travel to Scandinavia to ride an Intamin invert.

- RMC Gwazi
As of this post going up, we are exactly one week away from the RMC Gwazi announcement!- Guests Say The Darnest Things
At my home park (SFGAm) this past summer, I was on my way to Hurricane Harbor, and I heard 2 girls talking. I couldn't really make out what they were saying, even though they were right behind me. I could tell that they were talking about Raging Bull, and I'm sure the word "splashdown" at one point. That sounded really cool, until I heard the younger girl say that THE Raging Bull goes in the waterpark. Cringe. That wasn't the worst or most darnest thing I have heard, but I just wanted to post it because I thought it belongs here, especially the part about it having a splashdown AND going into the waterpark. Another one. The setting is SFGAm last year again. I was walking past Vertical Velocity with my dad and best friend, when I noticed a crowd watching it and muttering nervously. Since it was Fright Fest, I decided to play a spooky prank. As loudly as I could, I asked, "Wow, why aren't they running the other two trains?" Some people in the crowd turned to look at me, and I continued, "When Vertical Velocity opened, they ran 3 trains. They would launch each one after the previous train unloaded. But there was an accident on the last day of the 2002 season when the empty red train didn't stop and crashed into the empty green and yellow trains, destroying the green train and making a cut in the yellow train. Shortly afterwards, they closed the ride and repaired the trains, so they should be running all three and not just the yellow train." The look on the crowd's faces were priceless, and Dad had to hurry me away.- New Steel Coaster Coming to Tayto Park!
Tayto Park is home to a SBF Visa spinner and the legendary Cu Chulainn wooden coaster. Those two are the only coasters in Ireland... for now.- New Steel Coaster Coming to Tayto Park!
Whoops, I meant to say this year. Edit: I fixed the original post. Good catch, @Maverick44!- New Steel Coaster Coming to Tayto Park!
Well, this is exciting. County Meath in Ireland has just approved a new inverted coaster proposed by Tayto Park, which will be one of the first steel coasters in the park and the first inverted coaster in Ireland when it opens in 2021. Here are some pictures of the plans for the coaster. Some things to note: * The maximum height will be 105 feet. * The CEO hopes to get this ride approved this year, and begin construction next year.* The CEO has also stated that this will be two coasters in one. * The layout seems to be a cross between a Vekoma boomerang and a Vekoma STC (Suspended Thrill Coaster). What do you think of this new coaster? Does Tayto Park have a winner on their hands? Discuss your thoughts in this thread! The pictures can be found here: http://www.eplanning.ie/MeathCC/AppFile ... AA181453/0- If Cedar Fair got another park
I'm hoping that they buy Kalahari in Sandusky. I know it's a waterpark hotel, but they did purchase Castaway Bay.- Next NEW Coaster
I feel like they should add a Vekoma Bermuda Blitz. It's Vekoma's newest model, and it's so much smoother than old Vekoma!- RMC Gwazi
I've been watching a lot of Midway Mayhem lately, and I am happy to report that RMC Gwazi is in fact happening! Apparently, it will have a 91 degree drop, be 212 feet tall, and have green track with a saltwater crocodile theme. What do you guys think? Remember, the stats and theme are still just speculation until the announcement on March 1, when I will create a new topic to discuss the actual coaster layout and stats.- Firehawk Leaving Kings Island 10/28/18
What do you guys think the tombstone will look like for Firehawk? I remember posting an idea in the thread speculating about which coaster would be removed.- The Giga Speculation Thread
Actually, Red Force is 367 feet, so it isn't over 400 feet. I understand that this would be confusing. What I meant to say was I wanted a coaster whose lift hill was a clone of Red Force, but with a lift hill and a stall. The rest of the ride would be different. Now that I think of it, clone might not have been the right phrase. Anyway, shall we get back on topic?- The Giga Speculation Thread
Wow, I never knew that a post talking about my dream giga coaster could be called a troll post. (sigh) Seriously though, that post was my honest opinion, and if you don't like it, that's fine. No need to imply it's a troll post.- The Giga Speculation Thread
I'm hoping for a B&M clone of Spain's Red Force coaster, because that would be cool. Just make it longer and add a chain lift, perhaps make the ride stall before the drop, include 1 or 2 inversions, and you have a winner on your hands.- FORBIDDEN FRONTIER on Adventure Island - Cedar Point 2019
I wonder if @The Interpreter would like this. I would be very interested to hear their thoughts.- Annoying ad
I hate those ads! They are so annoying!- Haunt at Dorney Park scares girl and seeks $150K in damages
This is just... wow. How dumb can people get? And yes, I know it's not appropriate to call someone dumb, but I feel like it's OK in this scenario. What don't they understand about Haunt being scary? It's supposed to be like that, and if they didn't read any of the warnings, then this is completely their fault. Plus, if she didn't want to be scared, why did the mom take her? (deep breath) I'm sorry, rant over.- Volcano: The Blast Coaster to be removed!
Look at the last line of the blog post: 2019 is going to be a great year at Kings Dominion, and we have some exciting announcements up our sleeves that are sure to thrill our guests and associates alike. Stay tuned for more information, and thank you for your support. Could this mean that there will possibly be a new coaster replacing Volcano in 2020? I am personally hoping for a GCI inverting woodie or a B&M family invert.- Kings Island Dreams
I had a bizarre dream last night. It started with my family and I at Cedar Point, where my mom told me we had to go home to Wilmette, Illinois because a nuke was going to destroy our house. We got there in about 3 hours, and when we got home, we saw everyone walking in the street. Apparently, the nuke was a false alarm, but we couldn't go back to the Point because I-90 was closed. So we started unpacking, but all of the sudden, 5 police cars and all the RMC vehicles pulled up in front of our house and Alan Schilke and the Wilmette Police chief got out of their cars and spoke clearly through the bullhorn. They told us we'd have to leave temporarily so that RMC can convert our house into the world's first hybrid house. We left and started walking to my friend's house, when Tony Clark appeared. He told me that the reason Cedar Point purchased Budget Host Inn was because it was an obstacle in the way of them having complete control of Castaway Bay (the body of water along Cleveland Road.) Then, the dream ended.- Cedar Fair buys Budget Inn Sandusky for $1MM
According to the article, this is one of numerous properties purchased by Cedar Point along U.S. 6 (Cleveland Road). Here are the others: A portion of Farwell Street on the south side of Cleveland Road • An alleyway between 1706 and 1800 Cleveland Road • Along Cleveland Road and East Cowdery Street • Between Cleveland Road and Knupke Street • Within the 2000 block of Second Street - RMC Gwazi
