More track going up this morning

So I don’t have to find my images again and repost I was at working hard for all during the water drop blur out. I have other updates on there as well if you feel like looking around. Also let me know if there are any in particular you would like to see in better resolution.

The glare was horrible from both angles this morning. I had to sacrifice exposure just to document it.

I did get a bunch of good pictures off of my camera, but I don’t have time to post those till later today. Tough call. I’m in the parking lot again and they lower the crane to the right and took off the basket lift for workers, yet the large one to the left keeps moving and I can see the strap attached to it. Guessing they are waiting for a big reveal with local and national news. Anyone got connections to find out?

I did a couple weddings way back when. I also dabbled in portraits and real estate but I dont do well in those situations when pressed for deadlines. Anyhow, I was a fairly decorated amature at the county and state level when I lived in Utah, I can pm links to you some of my old stuff if you would like. Anyhow, look forward to seeing some of your stuff from when you come down as winterfest is very photogenic.

It was fairly calm this morning which started promising and then everything ceased. Some of the work they did the past two week surprised me due to those conditions seemed to be less than optimal so it has become hard to pattern. With that said, the lighting was more favorable this morning, I pictures with the guy in the lift and with wind seeker parked at the top I may share later.

After they had the guy up in the lift, little to no movement on the cranes. I have to head to Columbus for the day now so expect quite a bit to get done, I know I am.

In my opinion from the angles he got he would have had to be over the parks property. I made mention that I though it should not be allowed in the one KI Season Passholder Facebook page it was on, and got rode pretty hard about it. The dude that took it comes across very arrogant and said KI can’t do a thing... so rules only apply to those not willing to push them... anyhow I’ve been over in the great wolf lodge parking lot and they had a guy on the lift over on the drop side for a bit and they have since parked WindSeeker at the top. Really surprised that’s it. Picture is taken off the back of DSLR.

I do recall that and wasn't too particularly worried about the project as a whole. I have no doubt they will finish in time, Im loosely trying to manage my time and expectations for capturing the rest of the lift, drop and the capping off of the crest. Ill worry about the rest of the project when it becomes time as I think I may have a plan to capture the rest of the project via photo and/or video without breaking any of the rules or flying like Six. Hopefully it works out.

Well, then there is that... I wonder with that much rain if it will push everything out to next week.

I have been over there on and off today and have not seen anything of note. I’ll be there in about 20 minutes with my big camera in hopes of some movement. If not I won’t grab anything new as it would be where it was yesterday with the images I shared. Edit: The crane did move from the spot it was earlier but nothing to show for it. I would expect they may have rigged everything this morning before it got nasty, so maybe we get more of the support tomorrow... if it’s decent weather.

I was just there but nature called and it is actively raining with no movement for over 30 mins I left for now. I may work on and post yesterday’s video footage as it is still relevant. As long as no calls pop up, I’ll probably head back around 1230ish to check on things.

Let’s hope so, I think I got most of the morning free and they haven’t moved in a bit. I can only hope they are rigging up the next piece of support...
