The Reds stand head and shoulders about all local area sports teams, and I think any reciprocal proportions between KI and the Reds would be a huge benefit to both parties. When you think Cincinnati, the Reds are one of the first things you identify the city with. IMO, removing the Reds HOF Grille for some hipster looking Brewhouse was a terrible mistake.

I completely agree with Shaggys now 18-year old comment. Watching 5 teenagers sing pop songs is not very entertaining and seems quite lazy on the parks part. Get some CCM kids in...a band...something...

I just view it as juvenile but overall apathetic to such a response. I recognize its a pretty simple question but thought there may be a method to renew instead of being considered a new pass holder. And there is valid president to ask such a question. Reds season tickets, for example, do not consider you a "new" season ticket holder if you skip a year here and there.

I have been a season pass holder from 2016 to 2018, me and 2 kids. I did not renew last year. Can these passes from 2016-2018 be "renewed" since I missed a year? Or do I have to be considered a "new" pass holder since I missed a year and thus pay more? Thanks in advance for your help!

If it is reliable, I see no reason for them to close it down. This is a recent trend that I hope stops. IMHO, the front seat of The Bat is one of the most under-rated rides in the park. The different between front seat and any other on this ride is huge.

A lot of their unique taste is in the sauce, which you can buy online. It is a sweeter tomato paste than most pizza places. Try that on a homemade traditional crust and you'll have a decent Larosa's replica.

I love this ride, my #3 coaster in the park. I don't find it rough at all. And for those of you youngins, trust me, the lap bar is waaaay better than its original restraints. The only critique if you can call it that is that you really have to plan your FOF ride if it's a busy day. Ride it early to avoid the lines. The theming is fantastic, the cheesy video they play with the vintage "b-grade 90's X-Files" vibe, the launch is great...I absolutely love this ride and find it odd that it's considered a 2nd tier coaster within the park. We rode it a few times early in the season 1st thing on a weekday and got multiple zen rides and/or rides with just a few people...it was absolutely fantastic!

Agreed. I do do Haunt...too crowded and just not into it. But would have made another trip prior had I know it was leaving. There is absolutely no good reason to not announce that sooner...really screwed up here IMHO.

I for one can't stand Cotton Eye Joe. It's tired, and been played on the train for ages.

It's a shame they waited until late Thursday night in late September to announce this. It's a strict business decision. They should have told people sooner. Vortex deserved better.

I wish they would have announced this sooner! The best way I describe The Vortex is this...it is like being married to an attractive yet abusive spouse. Looks amazing, but she beats the crap out of you. But you still love her and keep coming back. Vortex? Looks AMAZING...but every time I ride it I get beat up so bad. But she's great... I forgive her.

You can't kick parents out for this, but I watched a large group of parents up and leave IS Skyline yesterday, leaving the tables an absolute wreck. Garbage, cheese, crackers, etc all over the table. You are, quite literally, setting an example to your children that you are a pig. Show some respect for your fellow human beings and spend 30 seconds cleaning up after your children! The poor kids working there deserve some respect. As a father of 6 this angers me big time. This type of mentality is one of the reasons our culture is in the shape it's in. And don't get me started on the trashy people the leave the McDonalds bags in the parking lot. As if there's not 1000 trash cans all over.

A classic diesel 48' x 102 flatbed, straps and no tarps. That would be a fun load to haul!
