Quick questions for Platinum Pass holders: We are planning a trip to Carowinds at the end of March. We upgraded our Gold Passes at the end of the season to Platinum Passes (1st time) for this year. We were unable to get the physical platinum passes at the end of the season from KI. They said we couldn't get those until the 2019 season. When I scanned our Gold Passes into the app, they show up as 2019 Platinum Passes. Will this be good enough to get into another Cedar Fair Park? Thanks in advance!

It was the perfect storm to make for insane crowds: Mystic Timbers opened + Good Friday (lots of people off work/school) + sunny and 75-80. It was just a sea of people. I don't think it'll be that bad this year since it's not a new coaster opening, but who knows...

2019 calendar goes live at 8pm!! Edit: Calendar is out: 2019 Calendar and Hours Opening Day is Saturday, April 20 and Preview Night is on April 19 (Good Friday). No new coaster this year, but I still have nightmares about that last Good Friday preview night...

I remember when the new chef came in that the new Juke Box burger was one his big things he promoted before the park opened. It was really good early. And later in the season it wasn’t bad, just nowhere near where it started.

Agree on this as well. The Juke Box burgers were really good at the start of the season, but quickly went downhill.

Yeah, this is our first year with Platinum. We are planning on doing 3 days at Cedar Point early in the summer. Then later in the summer take a week and hit KD and CW. Super excited for all the new coasters this year will bring!! And, of course, many many trips to Kings Island

We will be making our first trip to Carowinds this year. Planning to go down for Friday, March 30 (during spring break), and then make a week trip during the summer, hitting Carowinds for 2 days and Kings Dominion for another couple of days. Super excited for the new coaster as well as getting to ride Fury 325 for the first time ever!!!
