It wouldn't be the first time Silver Dollar City has done that. (Looking at you, Fire in the Hole) Although, I hope they give this new coaster its own name and theme outside of Thunderation.

And everyone grilled Cedar Point and Zamperla with Top Thrill 2 saying they should've gone with Intamin...Newsflash! Intamin can't even get a mid size water ride/coaster to WORK!

TruGreen ChemLawn stopped using "ChemLawn" in all but a couple of locations in 2007. They, from what I'm told, encourage the use of the name incognito. They dropped the name because of the association of ChemLawn with poisoned playgrounds. The trademark is abandoned now, almost 20 years later. The point being, CF saw the value of the name Six Flags, even with all the negative connotations in the investor community, the industry and the enthusiast community. Hopefully, when the ship rights itself, the name will have either redeemed itself, or they retire it.

I don’t know. I bet we’d be getting a lot of memes with Fred from Scooby Doo pulling the Cedar Fair mask off of Six Flags.

To be fair, they’ve been able to make things work with Universal. Hagrid’s had a rough start, but Velocaciaster seems to be reliable. Certainly not to the same tune as their other installs within the chain, though. Not sure what the issues are. It is a shame because I’d love to see them do something at KI one day.

We will wait for the press release before plastering a url graphic the park uploaded. Their teasing campaign has been so fun to watch.

Nothing is confirmed at the moment, but the rumor is that it's going to be a Mack Rides family launch coaster. Something like what Wiener Prater is adding for next year. I would guess it would be a spiritual successor to Thunderation.
