May 27, 200719 yr Hey all. I guess Firehawk is pretty good eh? I'm wondering if there are any crazy restrictions on height. ie you must be under a certain height. I'm 6'5" so if I can't even ride it, I don't want to waste my time. The only way I can ride Delirium is if I take my shoes off, what difference that makes, I dont' know. I didn't see anything on the PKI site, but I thought I would check with those who rode it yesterday. Thanks in advance.

I heard that the height restriction is supposed to be 6'10" but the tape was just barely taller than my bro.
May 28, 200719 yr I waited 4 hours to ride it today. I got there at 9. I was on the first train of the day. I was in car 5. I rode it again later and I wound up with 2 free tee's and 2 great rides.
May 28, 200719 yr Sorry if this has already been said in another topic (I couldn't find it). Was there only one train running today again? And when did the ride open?

I'm super excited to ride Firehawk. Hopefully, the line won't be too crazy when I go on the 16th.
May 28, 200719 yr I hope I can ride it soon myself. I am really wanting to do it, but I don't want to hurt myself.
May 28, 200719 yr I'm coming up there on my off day the 30th, in the morning. Hopefully the kiddies will still be in school. I tryed to wait for it Sunday and wow, I didn't have that kind'a time.
May 28, 200719 yr That's when I was suppose to come up and ride it, but unfortunately things happened.
May 29, 200719 yr I can say that on Monday they were only running 1 train (the red one, from the left side of the station (with a level walkway from the queue maze (no entrance stairs)). I arrived at the park shortly before noon headed directly to Firehawk, and was aboard Firehawk around 2:30-2:45 and that included a rain delay, and one downtime. I am only 6'0", but I do have some mass (in fact it would make a nice, though not perfect bowling score, to put it nicely). I had no problems as the loader could get three clicks on my lapbar without putting any effort into it. (She even had to do it three times, as my row had a rider who needed to be excused from the ride, hence how I know about the two-click rule). I heard the minimum lapbar setting is two clicks, I'm not sure what that translates into in terms of body size. You can see the ratchet points on the side of the seat when you sit down, it looks like the locking peg is about in the center of the lapbar. I had no trouble at all with the shoulder strap/vest thing. (That is until it was time to take it off at the end of the ride, but it had THAT problem at Geuaga Lake. The locking seatbelt buckle for the vest sometimes needs to be convinced it is in the unlocked position. )

I'm a bit taller than you, and I'm hovering around that perfect bowling score. I'm not too big in the torso, so I think I'll be fine. I really was worried about the height thing. That seems to be the thing that gets me the most often.
