Was Ft. Kinzel always called that? For whatever reason, I seem to remember it being called Ft. Lewis or something when FOF first opened. I could be wrong, and I probably am, but I just was wondering.

    It was named Ft. Cooper when FOF opened because Jane Cooper was the President of Paramount Parks... so now the flag has been passed.

    Personally I don't think the ride times there are excessive at all. I think you may be referring to waiting times.

    Yeah, or maybe Ft. Kenton, or Ft. Mason, or something along those lines.

    With nearly $2B in debt, I find it a little interesting that repainting signs to "honor" Dick Kinzel was so high on the "to do" list...especially since most of the GP would have no clue where the "Fort Campbell" name even came from. (To be honest, I had never put it together before reading it here...)

    It just seems like there might be some "improvements" that would have had a little better ROI to CF than the tribute to Kinzel...like some more brake testing on Magnum, perhaps...

    SORRY! Just messing with the CF fan boys ;) I just couldn't resist that :P

    EDIT...ooops Cooper not Campbell as Interpreter reminds me. Even more proof that I never made the connection :)
