Hello everyone!

For some of you old timers, you may remember the PKICentral newsletter that we had about three years ago, but the idea kind of went to the wayside.

I'm just wondering how you guys would feel about a new newsletter for KIC members. Not only would it alert you with the latest KIC content, but it would also have insider KIC information, special polls, and exclusive KIC newsletter information. The beauty of it is, #1 - it's free (as always), and #2 you have to sign up to get it, so you only get it if you want it.

Your thoughts please.

On a serious note, it WILL be an email newsletter. The content will go above and beyond what KIC has on its site. For example, I know when our next Firehawk update is going to be. You might know too if it's in the newsletter!!

And no, there isn't anywhere to sign up quite yet... but soon if you guys like the idea!!

I think this is a excellent idea. I can't wait for opening weekend. I need my beast fix.

Since when is the update next week? He said if there was a newsletter we'd know when the update would be, but he never gave any time-frame for when the update would occur.

You bring up a good point.

When you sign up for a newsletter, you enter in an email address, so it's not necessary to change the one linked to your KIC account if you would like it going elsewhere.

Sounds like to me everyone seems to like the idea, time to create it I think. LOL

My question would be, if the "above and beyond" information is actually "newsworthy" why would it be held back for the newsletter instead of posting it for everyone...seems a little elitist.

I prefer to think that EVERYTHING that IS newsworthy I can find right on the site...and not "held back" a day or so.

^ I have to agree, I didnt even think about that. If there is information that is known I say it should be put on this site regardless, but thats why its your guys decision!

I think about it as an exclusive to us members who want the newsletter. I love the idea and enjoyed reading the newsletter when we had one in the past.

But this website is the newsletter...it just happens to have a permanent link, doesnt need to be accessed by mail, and allows us to communicate with each other.

If there is a newsletter I will sign up to get it, I just think if its that worth reading than it should be on here. Now if the newsletter was in supplement of the site but not neccesarily breaking news I would be for it completely!

The newsletter will not hold back "news" from the site, but rather would supplement the information on the site. Not really breaking news, but more.. you know.. fun stuff...
