Meanwhile, that family park chain, Six Flags, just got six more hard liquor licenses for Great America in Chicago. I am sure that fits in here somehow. And I can assure you, the tropical cocktails they intend to sell will also not be cheap.

Now on to the more important issue "BEER". Yes the prices are extremely high however that will never change, people want beer and they pay for it.

Or just have a cooler in the car, pour your frosty beverage into a souvenier cup, head back to the park....

...you get the idea.

;)

You have not been to a Cedar Fair park recently. No outside beverages of ANY KIND (Including souvenir cups, and 20 oz bottles bought at the park).

Um, we carried in 20oz mt. dews and a few bottles of water at CF last summer. No problem what so ever. That was also the policy at PKI last year hoever security was instructed to let it slide for basic drinks you carried in, like one per person.

I have carried a water bottle into CP many times and they havent said anything to me. Maybe they are just now re-inforcing that policy.

I think if you just have one drink it shouldn't be a big deal. I can see if you trying to take multiple drinks in the park with you. You know the only reason they do this, they want you to spend more money while your inside the park.

I am happy they have beer carts back this year so i can walk around and drink a few beers, I just hope some drunk azz dont ruin it for everyone.

I am a little concerned about the higher prices for soda's at other former Paramount Parks and then a possible shake down of guest who may need to take some other actions to be able to afford to show their family a good time. The parents of most families would really love to buy their children a souvenir while visiting Kings Island. I'm just getting worried that the Parks are forcing some families t choose between a extra soda drink or souvenirs.

I'm just concerned at this point but I am going to wait to see with my own eyes about the food and drink prices before make I make an opinion statement.

I go to Cedar Fair parks about 15 times a year, and have never had a problem.

Now I can't wait in line with a frosty beverage, unlike Busch parks.

Here is what I do. They now make drinks to go in those tiny packets of powder, I take a bunch of those in my pocket, when you ge ta free water it is just the right size for one of those packets, presto instant drink.

They have Kool-aid brand

tea & others.
