December 15, 200619 yr does anyone know if there will be speedlanes, early ride times, and other perks we enjoyed in the past with a gold pass ?
December 15, 200619 yr Author i know it's not a gold pass anymore, but does cf have anything similar ?
December 15, 200619 yr Well, they used to have Freeway at Cedar Point, that was similar to the speedlanes. But they discontinued that back in 2005. Cedar Fair is usually about equity in their parks. I mean, they don`t even like to segregate their parking lot into class areas such as preferred parkig and gold pass holder parking.
December 15, 200619 yr Cedar Fair is about equity in their parks? Oh, really? http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/visit/vip.cfm Last year this experience began at about the cost of 10 daily admissions per person...and there was a minimum involved. So I am not at all sure I'd say that Cedar Fair is all about equity in its parks. Note, too; that those who stay on property at Cedar Point get early admission into the park. And they sell the Joe Cool club, as well... http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/admission...es/joe_cool.cfm
December 15, 200619 yr As a family the Speed Lanes is the single biggest reason why we visit at least 2 times a month. It makes it so convent for a family. I always fell guilty if I spend too much time away from the family or have them wait while I take a ride on a medium wait line. I sincerely hope they keep the Speed Lanes as our visiting patterns are dictated by it.
December 15, 200619 yr Author we only live 5 minutes from the park. the speedlanes were great, especially on the weekends when the park was packed. we could run over for a few quick rides, enjoy a pizza by the fountains with the kids and be home without feeling wiped out.
December 15, 200619 yr By the way; welcome to PKIC fan of beast; sounds like we have several similarities and park preferences.
December 26, 200619 yr does anyone know if there will be speedlanes, early ride times, and other perks we enjoyed in the past with a gold pass ? I work in the admission department and as far as I know, the same perks will be in place for the season pass holders but I do not believe there will be a special area for Gold Pass holders like in the pass (I could be wrong). There is no longer a Gold Pass but just a regular Kings Island pass, in additon to the two CF passes for admission to all the CF parks and water parks. Mike
