Do you think Cedar Fair will keep the September by outs or do away with them?

Cedar Fair wants all the guaranteed business it can get. The companies that do the buyouts will probably not care a whit that ownership of the park has changed.

I see no reason to think the buyouts will change any more than they would have had Paramount Parks continued to own the parks.

It would be nice to see the spread the buy out days throughout the season, not just in September.

I think most guest have got used to the buyouts to be in September and if they changed, it would be confusing to the average guests to which weekends were open and which ones were not. Plus September has typically been a slow month for Amusement/Theme Parks and probably offer a discount during that month which I’m sure works for both parties involved.

Do you think they would make more money if it was open to the general public though than having it be a buyout.

I would be just guessing, but In my opinion the guaranteed buy out would seem like a good choice verses taking a chance with the weather and the fact that most families are tying to get their kids back into a routine and may not elect to come at that time.
