On the Cedar Point website it says:

All MAXX Plus, Junior MAXX Plus and Senior MAXX Plus Passes purchased prior to November 15, 2006, will automatically include a free Joe Cool Club Membership

I was wondering if they includes if you bought your pass at Kings Islnad if you would still have that on your pass?

No - I assume that you have to purchase your pass through Cedar Point - NOT Geauga Lake, Kings Island, or any other Cedar Point - to get Joe Cool Club, whether free or paid for.

It's sort of similar in concept to the Gold Pass programs that PKI offered, but with DAILY ERT before the park opens, as well as discounts on food, merchandise, games and accomodations at select locations. However, there's no free parking or reserved parking, fast-lane rides, bring-friend-free days.

You should be able to get Joe Cool at PKI since they aren't offering the Gold Pass Perks any longer. This is a bummer I'm going to miss the perks that Paramount offered I hope they return in the future. Will PKI still have early ride times like they had last year?

Did I miss something? About a week ago when I asked if the Gold Perks would be there next year and the reply was they are still evaluating those. Were are you hearing that they are going away?

There's nothing mentioned on the web site that they are having the perks like last year and the Maxx Pass/Maxx Pass Plus Pass isn't a Gold Pass. Cedar Fair never did these things in the past with their parks I just assumed they got rid of them when I didn't see it on the website.
