hanna barbeara movie

i was just wondering are there certain days this movie is open.. i go to ki alot and i have never been there one day wjere it has been open? blink.gif

If it's like it was earlier in the season, they play Spongebob until 4 and then from 4 until park close they play the HB movie.

I never understood that..I for one am sick of Spongebob 3D I love Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera more so I wish they would keep both sides open.

They do it for staffing reasons. And probably from what happened last year when they brought DOT back. Remember last year they had both sides open at the same time, but the DOT side had no line what soever so this way this doesn't happen. So this way only opening each side for half of the day, they will have riders come and ride.

OoOoh yeah but DOT was great but Hanna-Berbara is a lot of fun and funnier than SP3D.

I still miss 7th Portal. I thought that was much better then SB. The seats seems to have alot more motion during 7th Portal.

I agree back in 2001 7th Portal was the censored.gif !!! too bad it didnt catch on people werent familiar with those characters thats why it was pulled. sad.gif

Amen! I much prefer the H-B film and have seen SpongeBob more than enough.

I am sure to be in the minority on this one, but I would love to see one side HB and the other James Bond!

James bond License to thrill was good but I am in the true minority, I like Days of Thunder at the FX

I concur with you 1,000%!!!! James Bond was my favorite one - and H-B is very close as second.

How bout something that is new, and decent to watch at least once a day?

Coming from a maintenance background there, having to start up Spongebob every day, I have a vendetta against that sponge.

Oh trust me I know what you mean. I was an Op on Action Theater in 2000 when we had Bond. That got really annoying hearing it everyday, I heard in my sleep. And don't even get me started on the pre-shows LOL. In 2001 I saw/heard my fair share of 7th Portal and Smash Factory too. And then there is Fearfest LOL.

Elviras Superstition was by far the best. I like watching it over some of the haunted houses.

And the fact that the story line was way too complex to follow, I had to ride the ride a few times and I think I got the general scope of the 7th portal outline. I agree with you about the un-familiarization, Stan Lee did a good job with those charecters, it just never caught on. While I'm glad to still see and HB ride in the park, I think the movie is just awful, the story line is basic yet there is WAY too much going on that it hurts your head trying to comprehend everything, its always out of focus due to the fact that you can tell its meant to be in 3d. It seems as of late all hte movies iWERKS (or iJERKS as some like to call them) has released for their theatres have been generally annoying. Robots of Mars at GL is awful!

Personally I think all the movies at the theater are weak. My favs. though would have to be Bond and 7P... But none compare to T3D at Universal... now THAT is a great 3D attraction. -Hauntguy

Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera was and still is an AWSOME ride I love having it so close to me at KI but it was WAAAY better at Universal Studios Florida the themeing was head on and the seating was better and it didnt jerk the censored.gif outta you.

Combat- If you think Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera is bad then you wouldnt like Jimmy Neutrons NickToon Blast that ride has waaay too much going on more so than Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera.

I perfer Spongebob Squarepants 3D and Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera!!!

My favorite movie was the temple one.

^ i agree.. it was losely based on indiana jones tho... which i like... and that censored.gif sponge... in the words of Queen it shoud bite the dust...and quick

But you also have to realize that Express is "loosely" based on Indiana Jones. But so is the Tomb Raider series.

Well, why not? Kings Island was loosely based on Disneyland AND Coney Island of Ohio. Coney Island of Ohio was loosely based on and named for the amusement venue in New York. . .
